    Nothing less than sorcery. The way you use color defies everything I know and yet nobody can argue with the final results beauty.

    Just Magic. The most unique, distinctive painting around. So often I see the first strokes and think 'no it's ruined! Wtf are the bizarre colours!?!' But then moments later it's just stunning. Cannot get enough of watching craftworld. The quality and uniqueness of the painting is obvious. But the videos are excellent too. Congrats! More please 🙏

    This is something I've started doing with my Malifaux miniatures, I'm trying to keep the same core selection of colours for unity, but they're all unique rather than looking like carbon copies. Great video, love seeing content like this

    This type of painting usually feels impossible to me...and yet from the moment the first color hues took their place on the face I already had a clear idea of the lighting, what would be in highlight/shadow (right down to the yellows on the sword and hair!) Great conveyance of the atmosphere in miniature

    You both do such beautiful work that I can't help but wish you'd post more tutorials on youtube. You have one of my absolute favourite styles. The way you both use colors is insane. Are there works that inspire your use of color or have you painted so much that putting seemingly random colors on a model just makes sense knowing what the end result will be?

    • @CraftworldStudio
      @CraftworldStudio  Год назад +3

      Hi, thank you. It is hard to keep up with RUclips since it prefers content regardless of quality. Good quality content takes time to make and there is just two of us and we spend a lot of time on painting and teaching as well making new approaches to miniature painting. We are doing our best as it is. Hope people will enjoy and share. Colors that we use are not random, they usually compliment one another. But if we want we can try making any combination to work as long there is volumes and contrast. :)

    • @ChibsterofNurgy
      @ChibsterofNurgy Год назад +1

      @@CraftworldStudio I figured as much.
      When I said random, I meant that to me it looks random even in the placement. They compliment each other, of course, but where I would paint leather brown or metal silver, you will paint leather pink and green and metal orange and blue. It's crazy to me that you both understand color so much that I don't understand what you're doing until I see the end result.

    • @CraftworldStudio
      @CraftworldStudio  Год назад

      @@ChibsterofNurgy Thank you, glad to know that. We try to explain it trough different lessons, as well as with using different techniques that we created to make this experimenting and color use more fun and possible. Hopefully we can share more here as well :D

    Girl. There is no such thing as 'thicker opacity' XD

    • @CraftworldStudio
      @CraftworldStudio  Год назад

      Many people who follow our tutorials and learn from us know what I mean when I speak about opacity or density. Those who are not familiar with our teachings, check other videos, or join our teaching platform. The results of all our students are very visible. So I guess I am understood. I am not worried if there is or isn't thicker opacity (and I don't want to explain this term separately for the comment that wasn't a question). I would say this. This is a very informative video from two artists. Though I am just a guest in this video (and video editor/designer + filming person). I am not a girl. I have a name, and if you listened to the video, you might have heard it. I don't appreciate rude comments, especially when we share videos made to help the painting community. As we always do. Have a good day. Aleksandra
