Lol, can't help laughing about some comments in here... I mean, this is NOT McFly, and is NOT Busted, this is MCBUSTED. I've been a GD right from their very start, and I used to listen to Busted too... I can't help being just happy about them making this TOGETHER. Anyway, if you don't like it, don't see it, as simple as that. I didn't like when McFly started to go sooooo poppy instead of their old pop-rock style, BUT you didn't see me going to their videos just to say 'What the hell is wrong with you, guys? THIS. IS. NOT. MY. MCFLY. ' even when I felt it deep inside, I just waited, listening to their old albums and crossing my fingers and praying for them going back to their begginings, being happy if they were happy doing what they were. I waited patiently, and now i can't be more proud of them doing this despiste of knowing some of their fans don't like it. So stop. Because they have decided to do their own way, it's their lives and their choices. Another year's over and we still together. It's not always easy, but McFly true fans are here forever.

I'm not that into McBusted to be honest, and I don't like this song much, but Tom Fletcher himself told me when I listen to the McBusted album I'll like it more. So yeah, we HAVE to listen to know if we will like it or not.

I really don't understand the arguments that McBusted do not sound like McFly enough. It doesn't make sense because McFly have never really had a definitive sound - they've never been afraid to try new things and every album varied considerably. Try comparing All About You to Ignorance, She Falls Asleep to Going Through the Motions, Walk in the Sun to Broccoli, Too Close for Comfort to Take Me There, Shine A Light to Hypnotized... the list goes on. To me, one of the greatest appeals of McFly has always been that they seem to be able to try anything and get away with it. Loving the McBusted album.
It's also dumb when they say it doesn't sound McFly enough when there's 2 different bands combined even though both bands have very similar styles of sounds

plus for years a lot of mcfly and busted songs were cowritten by james bourne of busted and tom fletcher of mcfly anyways so only difference is now the bands were one as well as the writing

How can you watch this and not just adore how much fun they are having? It is simply brilliant to watch these musicians that I adore having such an obviously bloody good time!
I admit I don't like many modern bands or solo artists, but McFly and Busted are two of the few I do like. I'm very much happy that they combined, and it's gotten pretty awesome. That said, I'mma go listen to my London Calling Album now. Btw, this was a pretty good song.

the thing is, what they're doing is fun, it's a laugh, it's not designed to hurt anyone, it's to put a smile on your face. However, I bought tickets to see McBusted and loved every minute, let's you appreciate growing up. Too many artists these days take life too seriously. These guys are loving every minute.

Air Guitar is a great song, its fun and a trip down memory lane too, going back to their roots, which is where McFly and Busted were at their best... Theyre allowing the now older generations re-live their childhoods... Air Guitar does that, it reminds us of a young McFly/Busted who were so popular a decade ago... I love the fact theyve gone back to the begining and to be fair theyve nailed it... I understand Busted was a long time ago but you have to look at the bigger picture, at the time Busted were one of the biggest bands on the planet and were so so popular, look how greatly it affected people when the announced they were splitting, thousands of fans were left gutted, anyone watch 'When Fearne met...' When she talked to James he said how devastated he was because there was never that farewell gig, it was just over oneday, never got chance to thank the fans and say goodbye... So now this is there chance, Matt and James' chance to repay the fans and people saying its not working or its not going to work must be blind and death... Look at last year, McFly's tenth anniversary concert at The Royal Albert Hall, a magical night and when they peformed as 'McBusted' the place erupted in noise, you could seehow much it meant to the band/lads and the fans/crowd then a few months later one of the fastest sell out tours ever, I believe they are the only band to have sold out 3 nights at the o2 Arena too, hey had to add endless amounts of additional dates for it because venues were selling out hourly, it was incredible... Last night too, the boys were great on Celebrity Juice and the new album is highly anticipated and now the 2015 tour is on sale and selling at an alarming rate.. Theyre enjoying themselves and making a future for themselves too, doing what they do best, entertaining and giving to the fans... Danny has said that the McFly album is ready when they are ready but for now, theyre McBusted... Stick with them, theyve never dissapointed their fans and i cant believe people feel they are now, the world doesnt stop spinning for anyone, so IF McFly doesnt resurface then so be it, McBusted will be even more successful... Just finally, what a gesture by Tom, Danny, Dougie & Harry... Giving James and Matt the opportunity to re-launch their careers as singers, put their own personal success on hold to help out two friends, thats pretty epic!!! Stop hating, McFly's here forever but for now, McBusted is their priority!!!
If you can't say something nice don't say anything. I for one, LOVE McBusted. I love seeing both the McFly boys and James and Matt so happy to be doing this together. Watching their antics makes me so happy. That is something McFly had been begining to lose. But this, THIS is magical. You can so clearly see how much fun they have together, they are practically all at a stage in their lives where they are married or they have kids and thats amazing. I'm so glad that they can still make music that they love and they enjoy. Boys, I'm sorry everyone gives you so much slack, if you love what you do keep doing it. One Direction played this music video before their concert today in San Diego and me being the huge McFly/McBusted fan that I am freaked out and sang the whole song while no one else really knew what was going on but it was the most exciting part of the show for me because of how much I freaking love them

Why is everyone whining saying that this isn't McFly?! I've loved both bands from the start and it was my dream when they combined. People grow up, their style of clothing and music changes. Get over it, its their choice.
I'm 22, I remember when busted split up when I was younger and I'm not going to lie like a lot of people I was devistated. It took a while to like mcfly, but yes, they grew on me. I see all these people whining about mcbusted and how mcfly are leaving their fans behind... But how about this... What about the Busted side? I know mcfly are big and everyone loves them blah blah, however they are still current, busted havnt been for years. So I think people should fuck off moaning and let us busted fans enjoy ourselves, and embrace that busted and mcfly are together and have fun... I also have seen a comment about fans being in the mid-late 20's who like busted? Yeah maybe so, but when I went to the show in Birmingham there was a hell of a lot of us 20+ year olds going fucking insane. Anyway, sorry for the rant but I think busted are getting a bit of stick here off mcfly fans, no beef guys love both bands and McBusted and can't wait to see them. This song is FAB! I love that all 6 guys took this step! McFly have always been great and I loved Busted. There's no hiding Matt and James are talented and the fact they can make millions upon millions of people happy just by getting together with their mates and making music is incredible. You have to believe in the positive and growth of people, if you were fans you'd know that they've all written massive hits together and they are great friends and not only that but be supportive of McFlys decision to join with Matt and James, wouldn't you want to make a career with your 5 best friends and each ones incredible talent if you could?! Don't put down something so positive!

I am a huge Mcfly fan ( never listened to Busted) but I love this. Music to me is about fun & I love it. Can't stop singing it. Saw them live earlier in the year & was dubious not knowing Busted stuff but they were amazing. I love the chemistry & total respect they have for each other. Of course some fans (either of Mcfly or Busted) won't like it & that is their own personal choice. Personally I think it's a great tune & I am way past being a teenager. Roll on next year & the next Mcbusted tour!
best band ever to be created :) I was a die hard fan since I was 7 pretentending to play a guitar singing along , busted broke up I got upset when I was 9 , wanted to go see mcfly but never got round to , then McBUSTED formed, seen them live twice which was a dream! and this sound takes me band to when I was a kid playing an air guitar! BUSTED, McFLY and McBUSTED put my whole life into amazing songs!
This is the real McFly in their element. This is what they played when they first started and by the look of it, actually love doing. The addition of James and Matt just makes it 1000x better. McFly and Busted were my childhood and will always be a part of my life. LONG LIVE MCBUSTED!!
Some McFly fans are so selfish... Have you ever stopped to think that busted split up and didn't released anything since 2005? Have you ever stopped to think about the busted fans? When I heard about the McBusted news, I cried so much cause busted has been my favorite band since I was a kid, and it's so good to have them back, even if it's only for a while, even without Charlie. And this is a really good opportunity for James, he never make it after Busted, so please, stop being so selfish, I'm sure one day McFly will be back alone (not as good as this, probably), and just enjoy the greatness of this.

Annika Allikas Did I miss something? Why do people think McBusted is going to last forever? It's only been a year. McFly went 3 years without actually releasing any new music (excluding about 2 singles for the Greatest Hits compilation). McBusted blew up for a reason: Busted. Including them with McFly adding this sense of nostalgia and so they're just milking that for a while. The album thing was spontaneous. They haven't signed a contract to release music as McBusted till they're 60, right? McFly fucked up by not releasing album 6 before McBusted ("Touch the Rain" and "Red" sounded perfect live). Then everyone would have been happy. McFly are still around and still making music. It's not like they've taken a hiatus, or split up. They're just releasing ONE album and touring with it. At the very worst, I imagine a second McBusted album at some point. But considering all the hate they've got from their fanbase, they'll definitely go back to McFly soon enough. Besides, at least they're doing fun songs again, and not cheesy pop/love songs like "Love is Easy" and "Love is on the Radio".
Kieran Emery I really want to believe everything you say (and I agree with everything, especially the last part) and I am really hoping it'll go back to as it was but really - why should they (except for the hate which they seem to be oblivious to)? They are all "best friends" as it seems and they're making good money. There was supposed to be one tour -> then suddenly one album -> then whoa! second tour... I don't think the second album is far away either. I've got my fingers crossed that it will go back to McFly but I don't really think it will. But believe me, I am really hoping to say "I was so wrong about this" one day!

Look at last year, McFly's tenth anniversary concert at The Royal Albert Hall, a magical night and when they peformed as 'McBusted' the place erupted in noise, you could seehow much it meant to the band/lads and the fans/crowd then a few months later one of the fastest sell out tours ever, I believe they are the only band to have sold out 3 nights at the o2 Arena too, hey had to add endless amounts of additional dates for it because venues were selling out hourly, it was incredible... Last night too, the boys were great on Celebrity Juice and the new album is highly anticipated and now the 2015 tour is on sale and selling at an alarming rate..
Theyre enjoying themselves and making a future for themselves too, doing what they do best, entertaining and giving to the fans... Danny has said that the McFly album is ready when they are ready but for now, theyre McBusted... Stick with them, theyve never dissapointed their fans and i cant believe people feel they are now, the world doesnt stop spinning for anyone, so IF McFly doesnt resurface then so be it, McBusted will be even more successful...
Just finally, what a gesture by Tom, Danny, Dougie & Harry... Giving James and Matt the opportunity to re-launch their careers as singers, put their own personal success on hold to help out two friends, thats pretty epic!!!
Stop hating, McFly's here forever but for now, McBusted is their priority!!!

I for one, LOVE McBusted. I love seeing both the McFly boys and James and Matt so happy to be doing this together. Watching their antics makes me so happy. That is something McFly had been begining to lose. But this, THIS is magical. You can so clearly see how much fun they have together, they are practically all at a stage in their lives where they are married or they have kids and thats amazing. I'm so glad that they can still make music that they love and they enjoy.
Boys, I'm sorry everyone gives you so much slack, if you love what you do keep doing it. I'll be here forever.

Why is everyone whining saying that this isn't McFly?! I've loved both bands from the start and it was my dream when they combined. People grow up, their style of clothing and music changes. Get over it, its their choice.
I'm 22, I remember when busted split up when I was younger and I'm not going to lie like a lot of people I was devistated. It took a while to like mcfly, but yes, they grew on me. I see all these people whining about mcbusted and how mcfly are leaving their fans behind... But how about this... What about the Busted side? I know mcfly are big and everyone loves them blah blah, however they are still current, busted havnt been for years. So I think people should fuck off moaning and let us busted fans enjoy ourselves, and embrace that busted and mcfly are together and have fun... I also have seen a comment about fans being in the mid-late 20's who like busted? Yeah maybe so, but when I went to the show in Birmingham there was a hell of a lot of us 20+ year olds going fucking insane. Anyway, sorry for the rant but I think busted are getting a bit of stick here off mcfly fans, no beef guys love both bands and McBusted and can't wait to see them. Don't regret this comment, if anything, I'm glad I crashed the wedding, it's better than regretting, I coulda been a loser kid and ran away and hid but it's the best thing that I ever did!

This song is FAB! I love that all 6 guys took this step! McFly have always been great and I loved Busted. There's no hiding Matt and James are talented and the fact they can make millions upon millions of people happy just by getting together with their mates and making music is incredible. You have to believe in the positive and growth of people, if you were fans you'd know that they've all written massive hits together and they are great friends and not only that but be supportive of McFlys decision to join with Matt and James, wouldn't you want to make a career with your 5 best friends and each ones incredible talent if you could?! Don't put down something so positive!

I am a huge Mcfly fan ( never listened to Busted) but I love this. Music to me is about fun & I love it. Can't stop singing it. Saw them live earlier in the year & was dubious not knowing Busted stuff but they were amazing. I love the chemistry & total respect they have for each other. Of course some fans (either of Mcfly or Busted) won't like it & that is their own personal choice. Personally I think it's a great tune & I am way past being a teenager. Roll on next year & the next Mcbusted tour!
i went to a one direction concert in vienna yesterday and i honestly didn't know anything about mcbusted. but damn, those guys are amazing
best band ever to be created :) I was a die hard fan since I was 7 pretentending to play a guitar singing along , busted broke up I got upset when I was 9 , wanted to go see mcfly but never got round to , then McBUSTED formed, seen them live twice which was a dream! and this sound takes me band to when I was a kid playing an air guitar! BUSTED, McFLY and McBUSTED put my whole life into amazing songs!
This is the real McFly in their element. This is what they played when they first started and by the look of it, actually love doing. The addition of James and Matt just makes it 1000x better. McFly and Busted were my childhood and will always be a part of my life. LONG LIVE MCBUSTED!!

Some McFly fans are so selfish... Have you ever stopped to think that busted split up and didn't released anything since 2005? Have you ever stopped to think about the busted fans? When I heard about the McBusted news, I cried so much cause busted has been my favorite band since I was a kid, and it's so good to have them back, even if it's only for a while, even without Charlie. And this is a really good opportunity for James, he never make it after Busted, so please, stop being so selfish, I'm sure one day McFly will be back alone (not as good as this, probably), and just enjoy the greatness of this.

This is quite ridiculous, I could say you're also selfish because you don't care about McFly not being there anymore (because let's face it - they have no reason to split this McBusted thing up) and not releasing any albums. McFly and Busted are together now but I am not forced to feel sorry for James and I literally don't care about Busted fans, as well as I don't care about Taylor Swift's fans for example. If I should feel sorry for Busted fans, Busted fans should be feeling sorry for McFly fans right now, too, because neither of us has their band in their original form and there's a change there won't be any McFly again, although I hope there will. But no no, only the McFly fans are the selfish ones.
I think it's selfish to promise to release a new album (over a year ago) and have everyone waiting for it, then turning up with something like this, basically not saying anything about the album again. I am not saying this is bad, I like this song and "Air Guitar" as well, but I am not forced to feel sorry for anyone I don't know or care about and if that makes me selfish, then so be it.
Annika Allikas Did I miss something? Why do people think McBusted is going to last forever? It's only been a year. McFly went 3 years without actually releasing any new music (excluding about 2 singles for the Greatest Hits compilation). McBusted blew up for a reason: Busted. Including them with McFly adding this sense of nostalgia and so they're just milking that for a while. The album thing was spontaneous. They haven't signed a contract to release music as McBusted till they're 60, right? McFly fucked up by not releasing album 6 before McBusted ("Touch the Rain" and "Red" sounded perfect live). Then everyone would have been happy.
McFly are still around and still making music. It's not like they've taken a hiatus, or split up. They're just releasing ONE album and touring with it. At the very worst, I imagine a second McBusted album at some point. But considering all the hate they've got from their fanbase, they'll definitely go back to McFly soon enough. Besides, at least they're doing fun songs again, and not cheesy pop/love songs like "Love is Easy" and "Love is on the Radio".
Kieran Emery I really want to believe everything you say (and I agree with everything, especially the last part) and I am really hoping it'll go back to as it was but really - why should they (except for the hate which they seem to be oblivious to)? They are all "best friends" as it seems and they're making good money. There was supposed to be one tour -> then suddenly one album -> then whoa! second tour... I don't think the second album is far away either.
I've got my fingers crossed that it will go back to McFly but I don't really think it will. But believe me, I am really hoping to say "I was so wrong about this" one day!
