I think it's super selfish that some fans are practically demanding that McFly go back to what they were. I was 15 when Busted split and I'm now 23, I've always loved McFly and I think that people in my age group are completely fine with McBusted. It's pure nostalgia, it's their art - and it's fun. In my opinion, we should sit back and enjoy the ride, and don't forget the massive changes that occurred with McFly's style between the release of Radio:active and Above The Noise, they'll come back with more but right now they want to have fun and do something else, something a little different. And never forget that had Matt and James NOT picked Charlie to be in Busted - Tom would have been in Busted and McFly would probably never have happened.
I've loved both bands. I've been a fan of Mcfly since they first started and I loved Busted as well... They were always two of my favourite bands so when I heard last year that they were joining forces I was extremely happy, the two so ha we have already heard from the album are great... I do get where people are coming from with wanting more just Mcfly because McBusted delayed the Mcfly Album but I'm very happy with the way it is at the moment! I'm very excited for the Album and the Tour Play DVD!
I didn't claim to speak for you Aerith G, but from knowing people in my age group whom I have been friends with for a long time, all of them are yet to say that they've had an issue with the push back of McFly due to McBusted. McFly psyched their fans up for a new album for three years and promised it'd be out over and OVER again. They told us a releasedate- then they postponed it, one too many time. The guys have been been writing with Mark Hoppus from Blink-182 and you can definately hear that in this song and Air Guitar. Personally, I think the McFly guys are getting back to their roots with the influences they had from bands like Blink and Greenday and maybe it took the Busted guys to bring it out of them. Imagine this will be a really good song to see being played live.. I've been waiting for another album like Radioactive and judging it based on these two songs this album will be a bit heavier. Seems like this will be a proper Pop Rock album and there have been precious few of those recently. Can't wait to hear the full album.

Those times it was common to enjoy Mcfly if you enjoyed Busted and to enjoy Busted of you enjoyed McFly and to see Mcfly coming back into their old self, well to me, it brings a smile to my fav with happiness. I still remember crying at the TV to the announcement of Busted no longer performing, so obviously you can see my relief to see both of my favourite bands playing together. But to people who want the Original McFly back, I suggest you listen back a couple of years and listen to the similarities between then and now, the focus on how much they've changed in the gap between.

Around mid 2011, I started reading about how it started and that's the first time I'd heard of Busted. I didn't really give them a chance because I also read they split up. When McBusted was announced I was a little disappointed but then I heard my first Busted song, 'Crashed the Wedding'. I loved it so I started to listen to more. I decided to give the McBusted album a chance since I liked both bands and I would very highly recommend it

It also doesn't necessarily mean they dislike McBusted! I like McBusted, but I LOVE McFly! I love the McBusted thing as I was a huge Busted fan (never got into McFly in the same way but like some of their songs and saw them live once). I think its great to see James and Matt back together singing their songs live as I was too young at the time and I'm also happy they get to write some new material together as well with the the McFly boys. These songs put a smile on my face as they remind me of the good times I had back in 2003 xD

To the people saying about Tom and Danny not having any vocals in the song: Firstly, They do! In the bridge and chorus. Secondly, THIS SONG IS ABOUT BUSTED so obviously James and Matt sing most of it and mcfly sing wherever is relevant. Thirdly, there are five different singers in the band so they are gonna have to share up the parts in different songs. They will sing in other songs so don't worry about it.

I think its great to see James and Matt back together singing their songs live as I was too young at the time and I'm also happy they get to write some new material together as well with the the McFly boys. These songs put a smile on my face as they remind me of the good times I had back in 2003 xD

i used to listen to a bit of mcfly but i mainly listened to busted when i was about 4. i loved their music, my faveroute was year 3000 (mainstream i know) they were my first bands i ever got properly dedicated to. but of course we all know what happened... i listened on the radio and heard they disbanded and it destroyed me. course i moved on, but listening to 'what happened to your band' brought me back so much nostalgia and happiness, it was like i was 4 again, no shit to worry about.
what im trying to say is... i missed busted's music so much so hearing this is just amazing, i honestly didnt expect to hear busted make a song again,

This is awesome, loving the pop-punky side to this, like a blend of A Present For Everyone and Radio:ACTIVE (which is perfect). Hopefully the rest of the album is as good as this, and I'm sure it will be! Fuck yeah.
Just shut up with all of the 'I miss the old Mcfly' or 'There is too much Busted in this' or whatever, just switch your thoughts off and enjoy the music because that's all that really matters, right?
But we should feel grateful for this opportunity that we've been given, the two best bands combining together! Why do you have to complain about Mcfly when they obviously participate in the songs or else it wouldn't be called McBusted...Also, I feel bad for Busted, everyone seems to be complaining about the lack of Mcfly but never Busted...it's like there's no Busted fans out there and everyone just wishes that McBusted never happened...

think Mcbusted is the best thing these guys have come up with plus they've made better music, more rock rather then teen pop. Hopefully they'll bring out loads more albums on the rock/punk side.

Firstly, They do! In the bridge and chorus.
Secondly, THIS SONG IS ABOUT BUSTED so obviously James and Matt sing most of it and mcfly sing wherever is relevant.
Thirdly, there are five different singers in the band so they are gonna have to share up the parts in different songs. They will sing in other songs so don't worry about it.
