'The Trooper' and 'Fear Of The Dark' should have been dropped, they've been played to death. They have a vast catalogue of songs to choose from, there is no reason to play them on this tour.
Superb performance, Love to see the the Somewhere in time tracks being unleashed!, It is my favourite Maiden Album. Cant wait to see them in Dublin on the 24th!!
Thanks for posting this. I've watched/ listened to it several times, & it doesn't get old. Nice job recording this show. I like the fact that you keep the camera on the same spot, & the sound is exceptionally good, as well. I like the camera angle. I don't normally locate in this spot, but I saw TOOL from this locale once. I'll consider it more next time. Once again, nice job. Thanks. 👍 Up the Irons!!! 😎
You're welcome. Thanks. There is also something for yourself to watch again. You can get quality video with new phones. Also, I use a small tripod to make video easier. In addition, a phone holder. I thought a little bit about the place when I bought the ticket. Not too far from the stage and not too close. And I don't like to zoom much.
@@jarmomutka71 No, it's a good location to film a show. I enjoyed the TOOL show I saw from that location about 15 years ago, but I didn't record anything because I was with a bunch of people, & TOOL didn't allow people to bring their phones into the arena, anyway. Usually, I try to sit in the back corner to the stage, in the 1st few rows of the 2nd deck. Trying to get a bird's eye view. (Normally, I do zoom in & out a lot.) But, watching your video I've realized that I miss a lot of the "above stage" lighting, which does adds to the video. & as you've said.... Zooming in & out may not be necessary either. I thought it really 'added' to your recording 'not' zooming in & out. You posted a great show & taught me a few things about recording a show. (I'm not a novice. I've been to over 50 concerts, & I thought I had my system down. 🙃) Thanks again for the post, & thanks for teaching me a few things about making a good recording. Cheers buddy. Best of luck with your life.
I had the absolute pleasure of being at Nottingham during this tour as a lone 50 + female and wow my first Maiden was Castle Donnington 88 at the Monsters Of Rock 35 years later and what more can be said Maiden have become my family.my heart and my soul I went on this tour for Alexander that was what inspired me all those years ago and I wasn't disappointed but what really got me was their performance of Hell On Earth A MASTER CLASS XXX UP THE IRONS
As a big fan, never in my wildest imagination, when I first saw Iron Maiden in 1982 opening for Judas Priest, did I think that would still be filling arenas and stadiums around the world in 2023 and soon to be 2024. And still at an amazing level. Somehow, as good as their shows were in the 80's, I think they are even better now. Can't wait to see Future Past in Philly in November 2024.
The thought crossed my mind as well. Nearly a flawless performance from each member, and comparing clips from the few previous shows they played almost every song better than before. Especially Adrian and Bruce were on fire this evening. Still getting goosebumps remembering how great the gig was. Mostly because it was the first and perhaps the last Maiden show with my daughter. Hopefully not, and the guys will do a huge farewell tour while they're still alive and kicking.
Watched this last Saturday night on my 75in TV with decent soundbar and subwoofer,,, absolutely amazing loved every minute of it ,, closest thing to being there 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘

This is Iron Maiden at their best. Best recording of the current tour so far. This is 10/10. I HAVE to see them perform live again! No bands touch Iron Maiden.
Oh goodness... no. I love maiden, life long fan here (since 3, am now 39). This is definitely not them at their best. They sound great, but Nicko *god love him* was extremely messy here (especially in Somewhere in Time, he completely forgot the breakdown before the solos). He has forgotten other parts, and sometimes just sounds like he's phoning it in these days. I know dude's gettin on, but he either needs a firmware update, or Steve may need to find a replacement. Maiden still fuckin rules though. ♡
@@grendelfly83So disrespectful and insensitive given he had a stroke. You know how hard that man worked to get to be able to play the way he played this tour? You're not a true fan if you think he needs replacing. You have to stop listening if it bothers you that a 72 year old man is still touring after surviving a life threatening stroke.
thanks for the upload. IF this is their ever tour, I think Maiden should finish with a UK tour only gigs, of songs only from their first 5 albums as a thanks to the UK fans who have supported them since 1979. This may seem selfish / strange to the rest of the world, and fans under 30 but they are a British band after all, and we have been there supporting them from the very beginning. Up the Irons always! 👍👍
Maiden belongs to the World. Try telling fans in Argentina and Brazil that Maiden is a UK band and I’m sure you’ll get less-than-friendly ‘Go F#@K Yourself’. Maiden belongs to us all. When the end comes we will all mourn and celebrate together.

At least
Great show, I love how they dug out older material from Somewhere in Time. Bruce sounds really great here! Even more amazing considering he’s battled throat cancer and is 65.
Right before Adrians solo on Wasted Years somebody got out of sync and I think it was Nicko. Shame but geeze they are in the mid 60's for God sake. No ill will here just notice things as a musician. I hope to be able to see them before they knock off for good. I didnt know Nicko had a stroke? Damn.

I love how Doctor Doctor is such a crowd favorite, we all know that we are one song away from the mighty Maiden!
'The Trooper' and 'Fear Of The Dark' should have been dropped, they've been played to death. They have a vast catalogue of songs to choose from, there is no reason to play them on this tour.
Sea of Madness and The Loneliness of The Long Distance Runner would be great replacements!
Superb performance, Love to see the the Somewhere in time tracks being unleashed!, It is my favourite Maiden Album. Cant wait to see them in Dublin on the 24th!!
How was it
Thanks for posting this.
Thanks. 👍
Up the Irons!!!
@@jarmomutka71
No, it's a good location to film a show.
(Normally, I do zoom in & out a lot.)
But, watching your video I've realized that I miss a lot of the "above stage" lighting, which does adds to the video.
& as you've said....
Zooming in & out may not be necessary either. I thought it really 'added' to your recording 'not' zooming in & out.
You posted a great show & taught me a few things about recording a show.
(I'm not a novice. I've been to over 50 concerts, & I thought I had my system down. 🙃)
Thanks again for the post, & thanks for teaching me a few things about making a good recording.
Cheers buddy.
Best of luck with your life.
IRON MAIDEN Greetings From CHILE 🇨🇱 We Love IRON MAIDEN!!!!
Great! Hello Chile 🤘
Fantastic! 🤘
I was at Donnington in 88, don't remember seeing you there though. 🤪
Waiting is rewarded!
Could they be recording this for their next live album??????
The thought crossed my mind as well. Nearly a flawless performance from each member, and comparing clips from the few previous shows they played almost every song better than before. Especially Adrian and Bruce were on fire this evening. Still getting goosebumps remembering how great the gig was. Mostly because it was the first and perhaps the last Maiden show with my daughter. Hopefully not, and the guys will do a huge farewell tour while they're still alive and kicking.
@@Tauno211 Iron Maiden was also the first for me and my son. I hope we will see the band again.
Watched this last Saturday night on my 75in TV with decent soundbar and subwoofer,,, absolutely amazing loved every minute of it ,, closest thing to being there 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Wow 75in TV! Fantastic! 🤘
Ol’ Bruce gves it his all, but his voice is not wt all what it used to be. Oh well, we all get old.
In my humble opinion, an Iron Maiden show cannot miss the classics Run to the Hills, Aces High, 2Minutes to midnight and The Number of the Beast ..... But this is my opinion, of course...Up the Irons!!!
Not too crazy about the setlist but jesus christ they’re still fucking great
You are right.
Maiden4ever
Bruce and all the maidens are the Best. And the beast. Iron maiden gona get all of you...up the irons my friends !!!
Just now listening to what I should have been hearing when i was a kid. Is the lead singer the same from the 80s?
THANK YOU - I am going to see IRON MAIDEN on September 1st 2024 in PERTH Western Australia. Again Thank You for filming for two hours, I appreciate it. Cheers from DownUnder
Great! The wait is rewarded. Thank you. Greetings from Finland!
I think it's in this show that Nicko MC Brians has a very basic performance due to his stroke
The Prisoner sounded brilliant.
Adding more volume to Adrian Smith voice in the song make it more enjoyable than ever
Beautiful...majestic...perfect... Iron Maiden!!! Thanks for sharing this great moment of humanity!!! Hahaha...this tour is incredible!!! Congratulations from Brazil!!! 🤘🇧🇷🔥
Hello Brazil! You're welcome. Great show.
With all certainty, Bruce’s voice is still top notch even after his throat surgery!… “Up the Irons”! 🤘

Thank u Iron maiden. Wonderful kick ass🎉 ufo style lighting show. Pure genius. Love u guys. I'm 53 years old. I now feel 17 again. Bless. Eddy😂❤
...the image quality makes me feel I'm standing side by side with that guy, or that gal over there!
This is a spectacular recording my friend!...well done and big thanks to you!
Thank you very much.
thanks for the upload.
When the end comes we will all mourn and celebrate together.
great set list, lots of songs from somewhere in time, one of their best, saw them on that tour,1988🤘somewhere on tour🤘they still jam after all those years amazing, legends🎤🎸🎸🥁🎸
1986!! 88 seven soon.. tour!
@@zoltanormai8873 yeah i was wrong, for us in montréal it was 1987,long time ago,i was young,😤
As far as, I am concerned, tgey are still fast, of course, they are aging, we all can understand that. Still going strong, pump up the irons.
Thanks for sharing this amazing concert with the world !
You're welcome
In 1983 I was a BIG ROCK FAN OF EVERY SINGLE GROUP OUT THERE. Im 57 Now and See Things Woth New Eye's and a Spirit of DISCERNMENT with THE HOLY SPIRIT...and ALL THESE GROUP PUSH A DEMONIC DEMONIC MESSAGE...AN AGENDA FROM THEIR LYRICS TO THEIR MUSIC TO THEIR IMAGERY. PLEASE REPENT ALL THESE SECULAR BANDS OF EVERY MUSIC AND ASK JESUS CHRIST INTO YOUR HEART AS YOUR LORD AND SAVIOR..WE ARE NOT PROMISED TOMORROW
Totally Bad Ass! I would urge Maiden to play Somewhere in Time in its entirety, or at least include Sea of Madness and Heaven can wait, The whole album is a Masterpiece, no fillers on That album Somewhere in Time, Wasted Years, Sea of Madness, Stranger in a strange Land, Alexander The Great! At least
I am going to All State Chicago in October! BRING IT ON!!!!
Great! The wait is rewarded! 🤘
I really feel like I'm at the show watching this, great video 👍
Thanks 🤘
Como comentar?
Só posso dizer. É do....,. Caralho porra.❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉❤❤🎉🎉❤❤
Bruce sounds better than when they did the original tour, damn what a powerhouse!
Great show, I love how they dug out older material from Somewhere in Time. Bruce sounds really great here! Even more amazing considering he’s battled throat cancer and is 65.
Blue Oster Cult also use this song from Blade Runner to open their shows.
How many bands still sound as good or even better than they did 10, 20, 30 or even 40 years ago?
Not many.

Damn.
thank you so much for posting this!!!!
i really hope i get to see them this time around. i can't believe how on point they are. then again, i shouldn't be surprised. they're my favourite metal band for a reason.
You're welcome. I hope you get to see them.
Wasted year inascoltabile.
I was there in Leeds UK and superb gig only thing missing is hallowed 🎸😜😜
I'd be the last to criticize the great Iron Maiden and they have been and are and always will be the best but Nicko fucked "Somewhere in Time" up lol \\m//
Man had a stroke. Give credit where credit is due. He was paralyzed from his right side for a while and is still recovering.
Sounds like bruce still has his Voice
I've seen Maiden 18 times and they never performed Alexander the Great ......what a treat !!!!!
Going to the concert in mass dcu center, im excited af
Great!
The best metal band ever
Seriously?? 😳😳🤭🤭
Great show! Only eff up I heard was Adrian Smith on Wasted Years trying to play the syncopated one line riff at the end of the show. He had a brain fart for a minute....
Caugth Somewhere In Time espetacular !!
Epic, you just gave me the "best gift of my numberonebassist"" The footage, lights, stage crew and. Most of all, fans ;.my Graditude runs deep! Iron Maiden, my number one band.. I would not save this as my dream is to see them live in the fall..Scream for Bruce best frontman(vocalist)of mine,God Steve best creator and bassist ! My three Amigos are all talented and unique, and unique style/Riff..Nikko you had my heart on the album Pieces of Eight!
I'm not a fan! They're my blood Brothers and this is my favorite song
Thank you for sharing brother ❤
A very big and humble thank you for your feedback ❤🤘
writing on the wall is one of my favorite songs, and I've been listening to maiden for 15+ years
Dickinson's voice is worn, however he still sings spectacular
Good to see so much Somewhere In Time songs. Maybe they will add Loneliness of The Long Distance Runner at some point.
