Thank you. I too have an extra room in my home that is about the size of Jordan's old bedroom. I have been going back and forth about what type of closet system to get. I don't want anything permanent in the event I move out of my home but still wanted something esthetically pleasing and affordable. You have sold me on going ahead and getting the Pax System. I love how you have clothing, bag and shoe/boot storage space. I too have a nice dresser that will tie in well with the Pax System. You gave me a wonderful idea for my sneakers with the Container Store storage that doesn't require me to unstack to get a pair of sneakers. I also have a long closet but I am thinking about removing the wire rack and adding two levels of hanging rods and floating shelves on top cause I know the Pax is not going to hold everything.

This set up is beautiful. I just got a pax system as a Christmas gift to myself but I couldn't cope with putting it together my self, as independent as I am so I had my daughter help me out. I definitely want to get some lighting next x

I so love the attention to detail, with all the gems you have placed throughout! Like the gold leaf tray, just to name a few. I love the pax system! I had it in my last home. This time around, we installed ELFA closets.

I had a custom closet built for my master over 10yrs ago that’s bolted to the floor and I absolutely love it too (will do a tour on it soon) but nowadays these companies want to charge and arm and a leg so I had to find a more budget friendly option. I’ve heard good things about ELFA and thinking about it even for the reach in closet in this room.
I absolutely love ELFA. I loved how easy it is to install and all the color options. You install one track on the primary wall, all screws and drywall anchors included, and then everything else slides in place! EASY PEASY! They have a video and a super helpful team you can video chat with if you hit a snag. But if you've put together a PAX, you will find the ELFA system to be as easy as buttering toast😊

Love your closet/room. You did an amazing job. Thanks for the tips and tour. I had Closet by Design do my small walk-in closet, all the closets in each bedroom and my sitting room, plus my panty. No where near what California Closet would charge. Also, it was done years ago before inflation and all these inflated prices.

Closet Factory did my Master Closet when I bought my home almost 14yrs ago and I looove it! I only paid 3k for it and that was high for me back then. I’ll be doing a tour of it soon! I already know California Closets would charge me an arm and a leg for that closet now. But what’s crazy is they’re the ones who did my Pantry (I have a tour on my channel too) and I only paid $2k for that. Mind you it was in the midst of Covid so likely why I was able to negotiate a better price…but still…oh how times have changed. Glad we got in when we did for our closets! 🙏🏽🫶🏽🙌🏽

Absolutely love it ❤ when I recently purchased my home, I Saw the extra rooms with the built in closets (and thought that bonus room was crazy.... yep as a RUclipsr 😂 I thought this was crazy) bought my home made a salon in my home, and now I want to add a built in closet in my film room 🤷🏾♀️ I simply say I am a woman & I am allowed to change my mind 😂😂😂😂😂😂

Thank you so much!! 🥰 and no, it’s not attached the the wall either. It does come with tools to attach to the wall for security though at the top back of each unit. I do plan to eventually secure them now that I’m happy with the configuration. ❤️
Listen. Job well done. My Husband and I were quoted $24k for a walk in a little smaller than your room and a reach in closet like the one in your beauty room. That man looked at us and asked, “and how would you like to pay for that?” I looked at my husband and said, “we don’t. Thank you for coming but have a nice day!” He tried to talk us into little meaningless incentives. I finally just said, “I could buy a car with that or pay for a semester or two of college for my son. Have a great day!” Like you said, who is about to pay $24k on a walk-in. No thank you. IKEA Pax it was. We do not have any electrical socket in our closet or I would get those lights love it. ❤

I'm planning my Pax system and doing research on YT and you have done a stellar job, your room is stunning and very lux 😍I just have one question about the lights, I think I understand how you thread the wire for the top shelf, but how do you thread the wire for the lower shelves? 🤔 Like, if you have 5 shelves, do you have 5 wires running vertically towards the exit hole at the top? 🥴xx
Hi there beautiful!! Thank you sooo much and wonderful!! I think you’ll really enjoy the Pax system! So yes, start with the lowest shelf light and thread the wire up to the top hole and then the next shelf to the top hole until all wires are running vertically up to the exit hole up top. You can tuck the cords a little behind the back and backing of the unit. I also used the little lighting cord clips that come with the lights to hold them in place as close to the edge as possible. To me, this was just easier. Hope that makes sense! ❤️

@@MissLittlesabs Exaaaactly! No drill for anything! I didn’t want to add any holes to the unit. That’s why I say start at the bottom. So basically build the frame, then do the bottom shelf, add a light and thread up to the hole, top left. Add next shelf, pressing the wire to the back left, add light then thread that wire up to the hole top left (now two wires) and just keep repeating this until you’re done. 🥰 And no problem at all! I’m here to help! I wish I had recorded that part but unfortunately I didn’t.

I so love the attention to detail, with all the gems you have placed throughout! Like the gold leaf tray, just to name a few. I love the pax system! I had it in my last home. This time around, we installed ELFA closets.

I had a custom closet built for my master over 10yrs ago that’s bolted to the floor and I absolutely love it too (will do a tour on it soon) but nowadays these companies want to charge and arm and a leg so I had to find a more budget friendly option. I’ve heard good things about ELFA and thinking about it even for the reach in closet in this room.
I absolutely love ELFA. I loved how easy it is to install and all the color options. You install one track on the primary wall, all screws and drywall anchors included, and then everything else slides in place! EASY PEASY! They have a video and a super helpful team you can video chat with if you hit a snag. But if you've put together a PAX, you will find the ELFA system to be as easy as buttering toast😊

No where near what California Closet would charge. Also, it was done years ago before inflation and all these inflated prices.

Closet Factory did my Master Closet when I bought my home almost 14yrs ago and I looove it! I only paid 3k for it and that was high for me back then. I’ll be doing a tour of it soon! I already know California Closets would charge me an arm and a leg for that closet now. But what’s crazy is they’re the ones who did my Pantry (I have a tour on my channel too) and I only paid $2k for that. Mind you it was in the midst of Covid so likely why I was able to negotiate a better price…but still…oh how times have changed. Glad we got in when we did for our closets! 🙏🏽🫶🏽🙌🏽

Thank you so much!! 🥰 and no, it’s not attached the the wall either. It does come with tools to attach to the wall for security though at the top back of each unit. I do plan to eventually secure them now that I’m happy with the configuration. ❤️

Listen. Job well done. My Husband and I were quoted $24k for a walk in a little smaller than your room and a reach in closet like the one in your beauty room. That man looked at us and asked, “and how would you like to pay for that?” I looked at my husband and said, “we don’t. Thank you for coming but have a nice day!” He tried to talk us into little meaningless incentives. I finally just said, “I could buy a car with that or pay for a semester or two of college for my son. Have a great day!” Like you said, who is about to pay $24k on a walk-in. No thank you. IKEA Pax it was. We do not have any electrical socket in our closet or I would get those lights love it. ❤

I'm planning my Pax system and doing research on YT and you have done a stellar job, your room is stunning and very lux 😍I just have one question about the lights, I think I understand how you thread the wire for the top shelf, but how do you thread the wire for the lower shelves? 🤔 Like, if you have 5 shelves, do you have 5 wires running vertically towards the exit hole at the top? 🥴xx
Hi there beautiful!! Thank you sooo much and wonderful!! I think you’ll really enjoy the Pax system! So yes, start with the lowest shelf light and thread the wire up to the top hole and then the next shelf to the top hole until all wires are running vertically up to the exit hole up top. You can tuck the cords a little behind the back and backing of the unit. I also used the little lighting cord clips that come with the lights to hold them in place as close to the edge as possible. To me, this was just easier. Hope that makes sense! ❤️

@@MissLittlesabs Exaaaactly! No drill for anything! I didn’t want to add any holes to the unit. That’s why I say start at the bottom. So basically build the frame, then do the bottom shelf, add a light and thread up to the hole, top left. Add next shelf, pressing the wire to the back left, add light then thread that wire up to the hole top left (now two wires) and just keep repeating this until you’re done. 🥰 And no problem at all! I’m here to help! I wish I had recorded that part but unfortunately I didn’t.
