YOU DON’T KNOW WHO YOU’RE DEALING WITH!!! Colapinto decided at the age of 14 to stay alone in Europe to compete because his parents ran out of money and couldn’t afford his expenses. He wanted to reach Formula 1. From a young age, he had that in mind, and you can see it in his interviews. Imagine staying alone at that age, far from your country, customs, and family, while other kids that age are playing video games. One day in Europe, he was riding his bike when suddenly the car in front of him stopped abruptly. Colapinto kept going and crashed into the car, breaking his face and nose. They called medical services because the bleeding wouldn’t stop. They took him to the hospital for first aid, and they told him he needed surgery. Franco said he DID NOT want surgery because he had to race that weekend. So, he raced with a broken face and nose. But it doesn’t end there. When they took him to the surgeon the following week, he told the doctor to fix his nose without surgery because he had to race the next weekend too. So, the surgeon put his nose back in place without surgery and without anesthesia. He preferred to endure the pain rather than stop racing.

He's bloody good and everything he's achieved so far is beyond remarkable, but this only forwards F1's biggest issue that is not having new talents and new teams join the grid, there are drivers in F1 that had years to prove themselves and are still either underperforming or average at best while you have F2 drivers performing tremendously well.
I'm sure that endurance racing stint 100% helped him a lot, because he would've learned tire management and also the new f1 cars being heavy would've also played into his hands imo

Yess!!
He is realy good!! Hope to see him in a top car....RB!
Thank you for such a lovely mini documentary about Franco. He will gain experience and will be one of the greatest or the greatest of all in the near future. Vamoooo neneeeee!!
I hope so too!
The dude even physically looks like Senna ...
he is the future.. such a pilot.. vamos !!
A country got his back. We love Franco 🙌🏻🏎️
We are everywhere.
Greetings from Argentina
He's bloody good and everything he's achieved so far is beyond remarkable, but this only forwards F1's biggest issue that is not having new talents and new teams join the grid, there are drivers in F1 that had years to prove themselves and are still either underperforming or average at best while you have F2 drivers performing tremendously well.
Cristiano Ronaldo (probably) once said, "Franco Colapinto will be the next Argentine superstar. He is the only Argentine I will cheer on."
Ho?
Jajajaj i spit my sándwich 😂😂😂😂
😂😂
nice video!!! cheers from Argentina.
Thank you! Cheers!
nice video! you may forgot to talk about his carrer in Toyota Racing series!
Great point! Thank you!
Emotional video! Vamos Franco!
@@alejandrovalles6102 very!!:(
Keen to see what he delivers in Mexico this weekend!
Yesss big time!!
I got here after the race in México. He's shown again what kind of wood he's made of even with no help from they team.
The Messi of the F1
As usual we argentinians have to go abroad to make true the dreams that in Argentina we can't for now
We need to wait for a few more races before we come to any conclusions, maybe rest of the year
@@adarshvemali2966 he sure made a statement with very hard tracks!
rookie of the year
Talento y huevos argentos.
Grande Franco
Lots of Argentinian people trace their roots to Italy. Franco is of Italian descent.
I'm sure that endurance racing stint 100% helped him a lot, because he would've learned tire management and also the new f1 cars being heavy would've also played into his hands imo
Definitely!
