I will be online for the premeire My audio is not as good as I would like, I have a new PC and I hadn't quite dialed in the settings. It's likely the case that only I notice this, but Gavin's audio is far better but I get obsessive about such things and wanted to apologise if anyone notices. I hope you enjoy what was a fun discussion.
I was given The Black Cloud to read by my 4th year English teacher, when we did two weeks on science fiction. It was a little much for a 14 year old! Now, 54 years later, I'd like to give it another go. More successfully, he also gave me the Ray Bradbury story, 'Dark They Were, and Golden Eyed', to read, which I loved then, and still do.
That's a great Bradbury story, but they all are as far as i'm concerned. I've not read The Black Cloud (Gavin Has), there is a modern Penguin edition of it I think. I may have to read it now as i'm intrigued to see how it reads compared to A for Andromeda. Thanks for the comment.
