Hah, Michael has probably read some of them :) The Starblazer comics look pretty neat. I keep on telling myself I need to read sci-fi novels from the 70s and 80s, but I never seem to find the time for it. Have a great reading month Duncan, thanks for the video :)
Oh great! I love Solar Pons and the Copper ones are fun - I think of them as a read for the darker, colder months for some reason. The PS books are lovely, very shelf worthy. I missed out on Starblazer unfortunately - those issues look great. Yeah World of Books are pretty random in their descriptions. I know what you mean about sequels that never appear - I've given up on the follow-up to Delany's Stars in My Pocket _Like Grains of Sand_. The Andromeda read sounds great!
PS publishing look like they have some really nice editions. There's an Interesting Silverberg collection and some Anthologies. I;m pretty sure they seem to have most of Basil Coppers output as well. Not my preferred medium but the ebooks are a good price as well. I need to like the Solar pons ones because I like the idea of the whole collection on my shelf because the Trade editions look so pretty. I'm a sucker for shiney things ....
I'm not convinced that they actually know the condition of their books. I think they just send them without referring to the condition stated in any listing. The thing is when I've had issues they respond and replace really quickly (I already have a replacement for the Stross book). They are not my first choice for online buying.
Looking forward to the read!
Me too.

Solar Pons just seems right in MKV's wheelhouse. I'm hoping to have a better reading month as I've been strugglin recently. Thankyou

World of Books have sent me several books that are good to very good and were just straight broken or mouldy 😑

@ Agree 💯. I quite like the selection and site but it’s just the lack of quality control that let them down.
