My impression of ateez have been mostly "strong/intense" performances so seeing them cover a freshteen classic is new for me! And it's a pleasant surprise
Not sure how deep you’ve been down the ATEEZ rabbit hole but if you like seeing their softer brighter songs I highly recommend Eternal Sunshine, Wave, Aurora, Dreamers, Illusion and Be my Lover with Kim Jongkook. Most of their softer brighter songs are bsides. I guess the hard hitting louder songs are more popular. I like all of their music tho

I'm a Carat and I personally knew Ateez since 2021 bcs of Kingdom (where I became a Deobi as well) and I noticed that they often sing Svt's songs, especially Wooyoung. And although Ateez isn't a group I stan, I always love how they're so eager to perform and their performance is always sooo cool, but not only their performance, their vocals are great too. In addition, they're HILARIOUS, I'm not gonna lie I watch some of their variety shows and I'm so tired because I laughed too much 😂
As a group, you can never go wrong in covering Seventeen's 'Pretty U' 😎🤙🏻🤙🏻✨ It would always be iconic. And when Carats find out about it, they'll definitely check out your group and might also add you their idol list. 😌
