You’re so awesome for this! Thanks! I’m an actress and lately I’ve been working in film and I can’t always have my tattoos out. They have makeup artists, but I have anxiety and would rather cover things myself. On set, I saw them use an alcohol activated palette and it was truly amazing. I’ve been looking for a good one and you sold me :) thanks again
thank you for making this video! I just got a small palette and learned quickly I didn't know what I was doing. I feel so much more prepared to try again tonight!!
I just ordered the alcohol fx pallet Friday and I have been binging videos on alcohol pallets. It’s gonna be the first alcohol pallet I’ve ever had and I’m super excited.
Do you have a video on how to use in an airbrush machine ? I have no clue what I’m doing but my tattoo is on my forearm so I’m not sure if I’ll be able to splatter it on my own 😢
It stays wet and does not dry completely it totally came of i tried the activator that i got and then i thought maybe 99% would work but the product it self stays sticky, any advjce?
The paints should dry to the touch when the alcohol evaporates, which is usually around 30 seconds to 1 minute after application. The more layers you apply, it may start to feel a bit sticky. You can use a setting powder to make it matte and reduce the stickiness. Please also watch this video for more information on how to use alcohol palettes: ruclips.net/video/EEgBTgsvAj4/видео.html
The colors dry within 15-30 seconds after applying. Because the colors are alcohol activated, they dry as soon as the alcohol dries on the skin which is very fast.
If anyone has advice-- I cannot seem to get the makeup to cure as described in this video. It seems to want to stay tacky, no matter how thin I keep the layers.
I made the decision to not order the activator, thinking it was easy to find 99% isopropyl alcohol. Boy was I wrong, can I use 91%? Or only works with 99%?
For best results we recommend using 99% isopropyl alcohol. You might be able to use 91% alcohol, but we can't make any guarantees it will work. You can purchase the Activator separately on our website or Amazon if you just need that.
No, the Activator's unique formula provides a slightly longer drying time than 99% alcohol. The Activator's ingredients are SD Alcohol 40-B, Castor Oil, and Isododecane.
I bought the narrative flesh pallet after watching several videos, this one included. I must say I’m disappointed. My skin is fair but also has a greenish yellow undertone. I could not get it light enough. I tried using different shades of red/orange as corrector for my tattoos and played around with making a kind of griege color. It would not dry and was tacky unless I put powder between every layer. I ended up using a combo of this and dermablend concealer to get the color close enough. However several hours later it is feathering and wrinkling. I need to cover several tattoos for a play im in. I guess it’s back to the drawing board.
Sorry to hear you had difficulties with our Flesh Tone palette. In terms of color range, we do recommend using our Complexion alcohol palette in addition to our Flesh Tone palette as this gives you a very wide range of colors. When layering the colors, we recommend applying thin layers because as more color is applied, the tackier and glossier the color will appear on your skin. We recommend starting with translucent, thin layers and building from there. Too much color applied will result in flaking, and takes away from the realism. If you can provide us with your order number, someone on our team will reach out and further assist you/help answer any questions you may have.

My skin tone ends up blending with the neutralizing red color no matter what I try… any tips??
How long does it take to dry in between layers?
The colors dry within 15-30 seconds after applying. Because the colors are alcohol activated, they dry as soon as the alcohol dries on the skin which is very fast.
Do you have relapsing polycondritis? Because I do and your ears look like mine. ❤

Make sure you apply on completely clean skin? No lotion/primert/oils or anything on the skin prior to application
i noticed when i used the activator sold on the site it never set but if i just used 91% alcohol it worked much better
