Frickin Awesome!!! I’m looking forward to the next video. I enjoy the story behind the artist. Keepin it real, learning that these impressive creations take time and life experience to get to a point where there is success. Definitely a motivational video. Thanks for your hard work.
Always nice to see other craftsman mastering different mediums. Thanks Nathan for allowing us in!
Thanks Samurai for the tour. Nathans' sculptures are beautiful.
I totally relate to this dude. He mentions the surprise he experienced with sculpting much better than drawing. I used to love drawing when I was younger. I stumbled upon sculpting with a soap stone and a dremmel tool; then realized I sculpt better than I can draw on paper.
Amazing stuff!
This is getting me to think about picking up sculpting as a more lucrative passed time.
Thanks for bringing this vid Samurai!!
Sheered Wheel Bearing 🐻 Its been said that if you can draw, then you can sculpt. Sculpture is nothing more than drawing in 3 dimensions.
Nathen Wow just Wow**** What an amazing artist.. Thank you Jessse for showing us this..
Thank you Nathan for sharing your talents with all of us!
I love Nathan, and so glad you interviewed. Very inspiring, and encouraging to hear how he finally found his medium and direction.
It would be awesome to see him go through the whole process! What a great guy! 😃
but seriously dude i love your vids and passion.....im currently a plumber but for the last few years, my passion and love for woodworking and timber framing has grown and grown .....you are very inspirational keep the vids up
Wow, so interesting stuff! Thanks for sharing this one!
Scrap wood City Your channel is awesome
WOW!! You fellas with all the talent, blow me away. Thanks for the tour!!!!
That was wonderful! Someone very close to me was a sculptor for lost wax casts; this tour brought back so many memories. Thanks so much.
wax clay (+) -> latex/rubber (-) -> wax (+) -> ceramic (-) ->bronze (+) - Well explained video!
Thank you for sharing, Nathan!
I enjoy your occasional field trips to learn about these trades that I never even thought I would be interested in.
Thanks for the tour Nathan!
Just endless amounts of talent.
I remember, when I was a kid, you'd always see those ads for bronzing baby shoes, and always wondered how they did that.
This guy is an amazing artist! Really beautiful work he does with an old workshop and tools. Place looks like a bomb was dropped on it with all that broken ceramic everywhere too! Goes to show you, it isn't the shiny tools or state of the art garage or workshop, it's the person doing the work and their skills or talent that matter.
Great vid! Thanks for taking us on the "field trip"!
Great video. Great guy that taught me tons in 21 minutes. I can`t wait till the next bronze video. Thanks guys.
That was incredible! Great guy great work! Thanks for going there!
Amazing! Educational in both technical and philosophical way! Finding out who you are in your true Nature is so important! So glad Nathan did it. I can also consider myself blessed being able to find my own talents. Love & Respect!
Thanks Nathan!🖖
GREAT STUFF HERE!!
Loved learning about the process. Great work Nathan!
That "mermaid in the shell" is F'ING GORGEOUS!! DAMN!
Amazing work. I loved this video - and most impressive was the home-like workshop. Thank you for sharing.
Amazing work. Thanks for giving us this unique insight!
that was super cool thanks for the tour
Wow! Awesome artist!
Such a well explained video. I've seen (too) many start-to-finish type casting tutorials so I guess I know what was going to be said, but Nathan puts everything so concisely.
It's awesome seeing how Nathan's art is spread across Canada. I've driven through Vulcan so many times and never stopped. Definitely going to check out his Spock bust next time I'm travelling to red deer. The piece he's working on for red deers new arena will be a must see once it's completed as well. Thanks for sharing.
Have always had an interest in this process, thank you for posting.
that was absolutely amazing thanks for the tour brother

As someone that has cast bronze I can say this guy is amazing. Thanks Jesse for getting this interview.
Wow, this is an amazing job!
I worked in a dental lab for over 8 years and the process is the exact same molds and wax ovens. It is incredible how similar it is. Thanks for the great video
Great video! thanks for sharing!

Whoa that’s awesome work what a incredible artist
Well the first and obvious thing you gotta make is a Samurai Carpenter. Thumbs up people for that idea.
An amazing talent! Thank you for sharing.
That tour got me motivated to clean my shop.
Awesome and inspiring. Two thumbs up.
I know you’re the ‘samurai carpenter’ and all, but I think you’ve elevated to ‘The Samurai Craftsman’ elite status now. Don’t short change yourself
That was truly great, that guy is amazing really enjoyed it
I saw that it was a 21 minute video and thought, “I don’t have time for this”. Well 21 minutes later I am still watching. Great video! Thanks for the tour.
That is some incredible stuff!
Amazing!!!
Wow!!!! super cool video!!!
Sounds like the next roadtrip is going to be across the pond. I know a young man over there that is getting into this very same craft.
Fabulous video!

Jessie, That was an awesome interview!!!
Great tour Jesse. Awesome backstory to.
What a process.
Fantastic artist . . . great video.
Great stuff, good tour. I know my wife would love that mermaid/shell piece.
Awesome video. This is the process I was trying to think of posting on alec steele's videos when he started casting but I pulled a total blank on what it was haha.
I have enjoyed some of your videos and recently recommended you to another you-tuber I thought might also find your work interesting and inspiring, I saw your bio video and have to admit I was quite surprised and impressed with your candor, it explains allot about your devotion and attention to detail in your work. I have to say thank you for sharing! This video was great!
Omg tks Master! saludos desde México
that was awesome.
Wow amazing
Very cool!
Thanks for the tour of Nathan's workshop/studio, Jesse; unbelievable work. Art-work like that boggles my mind (I'm not even good at drawing stick-men, or colouring inside the lines), plus the added complexity of negatives/positives/negatives to bronze is incredible. Your do beautiful work, Jesse, but his stuff... that's like god-level. I'd hate not being able to see colour though, I wouldn't trade that for his gift.
Good Man~
* Finding His Path... And Loving Every Step.
Very cool!!
This was badass
Very interesting process! Thanks!!
What a cool dude. Very inspiring
Wow! That was great! What a humble guy (not you, Samurai...), so much talent in so many feilds yet he obviously knows there is more to learn... And how do we learn? By making mistakes and fixing them. I have more to learn...
Thank You, Sir Samurai!!
Man that was that was awesome great video I'm pump to build something
Awesome video,
Wow. Amazing bronze sculptures and this guy is on par with Remington. I thought the gardener sculpture looked like Arnold Palmer. Too cool and thanks for sharing. Cheers!
Nathan’s accent is super Canadian. What a top bloke.
Not doing so well with the buttons today, LOL. I was going to say. Badass Friday field trip! Thank you. I’ve always wondered how that was done. A follow up vid of when they pore the bronze would be cool.
Cool video! Good idea to visit another artist!
