I absolutely love how you recycle old fabrics and zippers, ect.! I do the same! Or if i find like a shirt with an ADORABLE print at a thrift store, ect. sometimes i'll buy it just to use the fabric for something small!! More people need to do this honestly!
Oh, I do the same thing as you with my little pieces of fabric, thread, serger's junk, etc... I store them in old shoes boxes, I have several at this point 😅 but when I need it, it takes a lot ! I put in all textiles/clothes that can't be fixed or upcycled You're very good at hand-stitching ! You're aptly named 😁
So cute! Using textile scraps as stuffing is such an excellent idea, I'm going to keep that in mind! Would you ever do a video about your dyeing process?
Cute!! I was so confused when you pulled out that turquoise denim, but dying it with yellow was such a good idea!! I also like to sew with as much upcycled textile as possible, so this was really inspiring to see! ✨💖
hm, i wonder if pattern drafting goofs for odd shapes can be migitated by making a low poly model in a cheap 3d modeling program like blender? UV mapping is very similar to seams and darts to me i also suspect that this could be made much roomier and keep shape if sheet foam and quilt batting is used instead of stuffing extremely cute! i want one but ill have to give it a rain check till i get the things for it
I love this idea! I think once you got to the point of making the 4 pieces of the strawberry 2 pieces, doing a conjoined inner-outer bag technique for making makeup bags would have helped with stuffing. When you finish a makeup bag with an inner pocket, have to pull the outer bag through a hole in the inner lining.
It is a little denser than polyfill for sure but as long as your project isn’t too big it shouldn’t be too bad. Probably wouldn’t use it to make pillows or anything like that tho
@@TheStitchess i totally forgot when u dyed it! Wow! But at least you have a new bag for a lookbook ;) it can work perfect for the upcoming summer "lookbook" n.n

awww the polka dots lining looks so cute ^^ Can't wait to see this precious strawberry purse in future lookbooks ^^ 🍓🍓🍓
I already have an outfit planned for it 😎
I Stan the red pepper purse, it was mad cute. Thinking of making both the strawberry and the pepper ✨💕 thank you for the tutorial!!
Gold embroidery for strawberry seeds would be very pretty
I’ve been thinking about little french knots for strawberry seeds (and more leaves lol) maybe gold would be interesting to experiment with 🤔
@@TheStitchess any yellow shimmer would be great for the fluffy strawb
That would be so cute! Also, maybe some embroidered veins for the leaves? :3

yooo i totally need to make one to go with milky berry
So cute
This purse is adorable!!!! And I can see it going with so many kawaii and Lolita looks!!!
Idk if it’s as much of a dedication to upcycling as it is a lack of decent fabric right now lol
@@TheStitchess okay honestly, fair and valid! you're doing rly great tho with what you have and I still admire that! ^^'

Always do a test before cutting your actual desired fabric.
This is so cute! It would go lovely with country style lolita coords 😍🍓🍰 may attempt but not too good at sewing lol
Yasss I LOVE country lolita
it turned out very cute :D how many hours did it took you?
Oh gosh, I forgot to keep track... not counting the time it took to dye the fabric maybe somewhere around 4-6 hours? Spread across a couple days???
