@@hsuxareliontariiiii 2013-2014 is when too much dependency on technology (smartphones & memes boom) started and too much vulgarity in culture. Let's look at some of the biggest hits in 2013: "Blurred Lines", Miley Cyrus' obscene, vulgar, and tasteless singles, Rihanna's "Pour It Up" and mindless rap surpassed candy pop music in popularity. In comparison, 2012 was when pop stars still had been releasing original catchy songs without being excessively vulgar. 2012 still had a balance between technology-real life; coolness-realness. 2013 just was a beginning of new era I feel nostalgia too, but I think in terms of what I wrote above, the normal world really came to an end on the December of 2012. I love the time between 2013-2017, it still had its own unique vibe despite the downgrading of morality.

I try to live in the moment and appreciate nowadays though, we don't live in bad times...it's just that this rapid technological development hasn't made this time any more original or better (differently: it's a double-edged sword, in some aspects it makes our times much better than they were but I think that the cons, unfortunately, outweigh the pros). Music, movies, fashion, culture- since few years it's a constant recycling of what already was in the 80s, 90s, 00s, and 10s...there's no soul, no originality. I'm only in my early 20s so those are post 2 be the MY TIMES, I'll definitely be nostalgic towards late 2010s/2020s in few/ten years from now but I'll never say those times are better than what we had between 80s-2010s...ok, the fact that there is a bigger tolerance and acceptance towards gays is a big plus! They don't deserve the hatred, exclusion and pointing fingers at them all the time, the same with racial miniorities, but now it's cool to hate on whites (white-blaming) and I think we should be smarter than that in 2023, but whatever.
@@aziatix1168Early 2010s were the best years for me. 2010-2013 and the mid 2010s: 2014-2019. After 2020, it's not still that great, unfortunately. Covid came and affected our lives, so nothing is the same anymore like these good days..😔😢
