The '4' means a quarter note and the '6' means that there are six quarter notes played in each bar. So, if you hear Pied Piper next time, try counting to six to the rhythm of the song and you'll see.

i love amanda’s part of the chorus!! it reminds me of a siren in a way because she’s slowly luring you deeper and deeper into the game aka her trap but she’s also lonely which makes her not want to harm you in a way. yes, she’s a monster but she’s still a kid at heart plus throughout the game you can just see she’s lonely and wants friends. it makes me think that maybe the kids she took were brought into the game because she doesn’t want to be alone. i feel like wooly’s part of the chorus is also lovely because he’s constantly trying to warn us about amanda but he’s also telling her story throughout the song which i find interesting. this makes me think that wooly either is more involved then we think or that he’s a trapped soul too but trapped directly by amanda. i love the way this song explains the whole story so fluidly. i’ve been thinking about it nonstop lately.

The last part sent chills down my spine. Wooly/woolies voice suddenly gets cut off then the tv breaks and Amanda saying "out there somewhere" as her voice is softer than before despite the tv being broken with there being no possible way to fix it as if she's right behind you or outside your house or she's there in your house whispering into your ear . Love the song and amazing voice acting and love the animation

The animation is awesome and perfectly compliments the music, I love how the instrumental sounds almost like it's coming from the TV itself at times, and of course the duet between CG5 as Wooly desperately trying to fix things, and Kathychan as Amanda slowly falling to the madness is awesome.
I LOVE how Amanda still has her innocent voice even while singing in demon form. So much amazing symbolism with that.

It really shows that she is still a child, but just sharing a body with a demon, or is possessed by a type of demon, but it doesn't leave her, so the voice of Amanda is the voice the demon uses to hide the fact its actually a Demon! What i think atleast.

Exactly! We can see in the game she actually doesn't want to hurt anyone but because she shares with a demon body, she seems she wants to prevent that and be the child she always was. She wants to just be R3Bëĉæ again.

I love how well this song represents the game, How Wooly is talking so quickly trying to get us away and Amanda is speaking slowly, relaxed like she know that shes gonna be triuphant in the end. I love how well you use the lore of the games into your lyrics. It adds so much emotion to the lyrics itself. I'm absolutely in love with Amanda's lyrics because it shows the sympathy to her character while the rest of the song conveys her as a danger while she's just pleading for help. Also the use of the "Won't you help the lonely kitten?" As well as the scene on the couch. The song beautifully conveys the story Amanda The Adventurer in less then 5 minutes. Absolutely amazing job ❤️✨

I've been following the series of the game for a while and I've always loved when creators made songs of horror games or creepypastas, so I'm glad this was made great job you two! You guys did amazing!!

I had mixed feelings about the first part. It sounded like every other CG5 but as soon as the chorus of Amanda mixed with Woolie’s fast singing made it so cool. And from there on out, it was my favorite CG5 song.

The connection between the myth of the pied piper and the game the devs did is awesome.
My favorite story / myth ( it a story based on true events tho) is the pied piper. Basically hamelin town was infested with rats, the mayor of hamelin claimed he would give gold to the person who would get rid of the rats. And so, the pied piper lured the rats away to drown in a river, But when the pied piper was about to claim his gold. The mayor refused to pay him. The pied piper had no choice, he lured the children away and they where never seen again.
And as for the connections, the company in amanda the adventure is called hamelin with a mouse logo. And Amanda basically ‘ lure ‘ children away from their home, just has the pied piper did. In a secret tape you can hear her saying ‘ bah lamb ‘ and other weird sounding names. Well these are all demons names. And i’m guessing this is what made Amanda like that, or maybe she herself got lured. Well if you read all that hope you learned something new today.

The whole song is amazing!! I feel like the lyrics and the melody capture the creepyness and horror really well, and that chorus is a masterpiece. Kathy's slow singing and Charlie's fast singing together make an amazing contrast. Good job to everyone who has worked on this!

Man, this has gotta be one of my new favorites. The layering in the chorus for both Amanda and Wooly's parts was amazing, and hearing that every space was filled was just- perfect. From the really slow, almost hypnotic singing from Amanda to Wooly's little panicked, choppy (in a good way) dialogue, you basically captured everything in the song. Also the vocals?? Those were on a whooole nother level.

For the people who don’t know why it’s called “Pied Piper”:
So, the company who bought Amanda the Adventurer was called Hameln. And, there’s a place in Germany with the same name as the company. They had a rat infestation and then the Pied Piper came. He went from catching mice (which is why there’s a mouse on the logo) to kidnapping children because he didn’t get paid enough. Which explains that letter from Joanne Cook (if that’s her name) with the kidnapped kid, Jordan. And the kidnapper was called the “Pied Piper”. And in this game, Amanda is kind of like the Pied Piper. So that is why it’s called “Pied Piper”.

I LOVE that CG5 here knows Hameln (the name of the company) is also another name of the folktale Pied Piper. In said folktale, Hameln would lure unsuspecting women with his melody, getting them into a trance, and then capturing them. Usually one thought he lured mice, but not originally. Great references throughout the song :))

Somebody tell me HOW this man can make such good music in TWO days!? It really felt like this could be the ending credits song AND animation. It is absolutely brilliant and they were even able make wooly feel like he was really begging us to help him and save the kids and like he was scared. As for Amanda, you really made feel somewhat innocent despite her trying to hurt us. The duet part really shows a side of the show that is only lightly touched on in the game. Wooly is also suffering to help us and really wants us to save the children but Amanda's demon becomes to strong everytime. In the game, at first, Amanda seems so hurt and angry that she can't control herself, but by the end she has almost completely given in and now has the power to destroy Wooly and turn him into a real sheep. This is very well represented in your song as well. She is innocently asking us to help her through the TV but by the end, Wooly is barely there, stuck with no way to help us, while Amanda demon is about to off us. Honestly him and Kathy need a grade higher than S ASAP! This was the most well done Amanda the Adventurer song I've watched. This is going to be on repeat on both my playlist. (By in my head I mean low key haunt me because I scare much to easily!) (Why'd I have to be late to the premiere by 4 minutes though😭😒😅)

Literally a masterpiece. I am stuck listening to it over and over as it displays such a perfect representation of not only the story. But wooly's efforts to help us as Amanda is still trying to kill us. The chorus only makes it better as she typically is also referring to herself when she asks to help the lonely kitten, while also saying how she's out there somewhere and that she may be gone but not lost. But she is typically insane so wooly just trying to plead speaking quickly is just perfect. The chorus completely encapsulates the idea of the entire game plot. I'm in love with the song

yo I listened to this song with the us trailer and it slaps like I muted the trailer and listened to the song whilst the video played and it fit weirdly well.
I love how this is laid out. The verses are like the player slowly figuring out the story, asking questions and coming to conclusions while the chorus are the videotapes progressively getting more manic and intense with the characters becoming more self-aware
And this is why this is my favorite game out there
The parts where Wooly and Amanda sing together really speaks to how in the game they keep trying to get you to believe them. Wooly wants you to trust him and run away from the show, while Amanda is trying to get you to be her friend because she's alone.

Every time i here die… alone i say in my head here haha this song is so creative and the song definitely matches the aura of the game and i love how Amanda uses the most famous line from the game in the song and i love the animations
I just love how during the duet you can hear them both clearly at the same time
This song really shows the struggle for control between the two. Wooly trying to get Amanda to stop and to try and save the player, knowing the consequences, as seen at 1:55-2:19, while Amanda just repeatedly tries to force control away from the player, and try to suck them into the trap just like the others, and even goes as far as to show her true form and leave the game, as seen at 2:33-3:04.

@@Bigmomaxime THIS, I think people forget that Hameln corrupted Amanda with the demon Baalam (might’ve spelt that wrong). She was a child who’s parent was taken from her, and told that he abandoned her. The company manipulated a child by breaking her down and making her believe that they were the only ones who cared about her, hence why in the game, she flips out when you deny helping the kitten. The kitten is just an metaphor for her.

Amanda’s voice is much more prominent than woolys as the melody which really shows the power struggle between the two. Wooly is saying so much while Amanda with the simple melody makes it more alluring. I’ve been humming this song all day ngl 💕

CG5 what impresses me the most about you is your diversity in genre and understanding of rhythm. The whole video gave me goosebumps. But what really got me was the overlay of Amanda and Wooly. It mirrors the game perfectly. You can choose who you want to help but its like Amanda has the stronger pull since shes sing the longer notes (that swaying-to-the-tempo feeling). She drowns out Wooly who doesnt have much time or control. Perfect.
I feel bad for Amanda, "Friends share secrets, right?" it just sounds like she wants to be normal and not like... this! She just feels like she's been so misguided and mistreated in her life. The last line she says is so soft, it's like what somebody says after taking their last breath.

And usually rituals with demons in this area involve killing children. Even the whole Flautist of Hamelin story ends with the flautist killing almost every single child, leaving only one. (Depending the version. The one I read ends with one with polio being left behind)

I love how at the end (3:14 - 3:15), Wooly's voice is suddenly cut off and Amanda's voice sounds like she's right by your ear, waiting for the perfect moment to strike. Amazing work on this song! The chords are just magnificent and the way Wooly sings as though he's gradually running out of time to get his message across is just stunning. This song really encompasses the true backstory and plot of Amanda the Adventurer. Chef's kiss all around.
