While Gold % is not the best example of what Power Pivot can do, the measure is flexible and optimal. We can see Gold % for a country, continent or any other grouping with the measure. Power Query column wouldn't let you do that.

I try a few different titles to test which one works best. I haven't changed the title on this one in a long time. I usually run these tests in the first 2-3 weeks of release.
Really enjoy your videos and find them very accessible! I was wondering why on this example you would choose to fill down to get rid of the nulls, if this fills it with the information from the row above, than this gives an incorrect country name to that row and makes the data skew in favour of that country no? Or was this just used an example of something you *can* do?
HI chandoo. is there any tutorial that walk us thru/' the synchronization of Excel files ( data) and the reports created in Power bi from those excel files. I do not see much ' focusing' on this issue. Is actually strange as excel is the primary tool used by all organisations . thanks martin
The process is controlled thru "refresh" in Power BI. You can automatically schedule this or run it on demand. I do not yet have any videos on this but will be adding some in the next few months. Check back again please :)
