I've said this before...it was during Alligator era they were on the rise domestically and internationally. Follow/AAL eras supposedly have skyrocketed them, i felt it in my bones. But despite what happened (a drastic one, i might add) they still continued to rise. Like Honey said, MX ARE GOLDEN TURTLES. Slow and steady but magnificent.
Its true. They are not where they should be considering all the effort, quality, interest and resources their company put into them, but they are still successful and outlasting other groups that had a bigger initial impact. So I’d say that’s a success in of it’s self, longevity.
There really is something about the "Monsta X color" that lasts. Even if they try or experiment on other genres/ languages, they make it their own. That Monsta X flavor that cannot be replicated. I'm just so happy that these rookies know what's up (them idolizing MX).
Yeah this dude's pretty accurate. "Follow" was going to be the tipping point for them into super stardom in Korea but then those useless people got in the way with their BS 'drama' and then the sh!tty press got in the way. The fact that they still care about each other and are still a group making music together shows their genuineness and that's why they haven't disbanded, and probably won't for a long, long time. Also their discography is amazing, idk how one kpop group can have so many single-worthy songs 🧐
Sorry, but for me Monsta X it’s the best K-pop group in industry they have the best rap line and one of the best voices of k-pop (Kihyun) I really think they’re different from other groups they are so talented, it’s a shame that they are not valued and that they have not reached the place they deserve. They are the best ♥️♥️♥️ and we (monbebe) will be there for them always. Bendiciones 🙏🏻💕
To me MonstaX are that one band who have amazing discography. I'm not saying this listening to 30-50 songs here and there. I have listened almost all of their songs and I find myself playing 80% of their tracks frequently. Especially with the newer bands comin in with just visuals, poor group dynamics and certain point choreographies I find myself reaching for 3rd Gen artists and few 4th Gen ones so often nowadays. Also their recent music is not just some global fanbase appealing English garbage but actual music.
The issue with MX is that since their debut, they almost ALWAYS created grownup music. Music for adults. They never generated bubble gum pop hits for 11 year olds, unlike BTS, SVT, NCT or ASTRO. Adult themes don’t sell well in Korea, but they give you longevity if you are committed enough. They are not just idols; they are all consummate musicians. Starship made big mistakes with some of their comebacks, but overall their discography and sexy image stand the test of time. They are gaining adult fans today. Not 11 year olds, unlike SVT.
i wonder if wonho's whole thing hadn't have happened would they have been twice as successful as they are now cuz like during the alligator era they were most definitely going for really big recognition among the gp and when follow dropped the chances were high that they were gonna have successful comeback but then wonho's thing happened and like the whole group itself was being shitted on like i don't know i just sometimes wonder
True, they have gone through tough things but their concept group, music style is very very unique, I know kpop industry since 2011. Proud Monbebe

@@couchpotatoe9062 ow EVERYBODY knows who and what Monsta X are, there’s no doubt. They ARE kpop, they are that 3rd gen stepping stone for the genre.
