lol. That netcode is the same as my double shift down in the Vee issue I have with my wheel. The back just spins out. These F4 races look worse than 1000ir Vee races. Complete chaos. It’s almost like a bunch of people who got their rating in slower cars and have no idea to drive the F4 and have no racecraft.
I think there must be a very high percentage of hotlappers or something. The race craft seems poor from what I can tell, and the etiquette is non-existent.
Sorry Gareth, I think this is on you, you did slide into Thomas, so even if there were no net code you would have taken him out. Not respecting a blue flag is a reportable offence and you deliberately drive to put another driver in this case Alberto at risk of loosing points is not good sportsmanship and even after he asked you to respect blue flag conditions, if the roles were reversed and a Blue flag driver challenges you and take you out while you were leading on the last lap, then you might understand, you already were loosing points in this race so no need to "sabotage" someone else's change for points. In this race you assisted in a disqualification of another driver which could have been avoided. Well that how I see it.
So firstly, thanks for watching and commenting. The incident with Thomas was my fault because I was the faster car, but without the net code I doubt it would have happened. I wasn't sliding or out of control and I had grip to spare. You're definitely wrong about the Alberto incident though. Here is the section covering blue flags from the sporting code: 5.1.7.5. Blue Flag (blue with diagonal yellow stripe) - Indicates faster cars are approaching. This flag is informational only. In all cases, it is the responsibility of the faster car to safely overtake the slower car. It is the responsibility of the slower car to maintain a consistent line. It is strongly recommended that a slower car being lapped makes every reasonable effort to facilitate a safe pass. Note the part which says blue flags are informational only, and the part which says the overtaking car must pass safely. I maintain a consistent and safe line and Alberto makes a risky move which outs me out of the race. Furthermore he does this to two other cars later in the race and ends up getting himself disqualified. I let a number of cars through successfully before this entitled buffoon took me out of the race. It's not on me.
@@nelsonsimracing I am not saying the way you have acted under the Blue Flag is reportable, you kept within the Blue Flag rules and did not block, what I say is If you’re getting blue flagged your race is already over. Under Blue Flag, I’ll always move over and let faster cars through. iRacing also under the rules talk about Good Sportsmanship, each to his/her own, Thank you for your reply, enjoy your videos, luckily Vilmer did not take you out :)
I think i was accommodating for the most part, even to the point where I lost a spot letting a car lap me. I just hate the entitled attitude people like Alberto have. He created a situation which really needn't have happened, it cost him and me big time.
