- Chris Paul camp was a huge success, and on the final day camp counselors had some of the best high school & college stars go 1V1! Jared McCain, AJ Johnson, Justin Edwards, Keyonte George, Anthony Black and more go at it! At the end of it all Eric Gaines and Mark Armstrong were the last two left!

It’s tricky because guard camps should be like 80% P&R work. That’s what gonna get these guys in the league, but it’s hard to do ball screen drills without a full team present.
They need more camps like this where they actually play defense

Almost all these guys who are right handers use their left foot as a pivot foot, when a neutral stance defender would be more easily beat by having a free left foot/right foot pivot foot. No wonder with no help these guys still pull up into so many long and bad jumpers. Learn to pivot with both feet FFS

@@CammyClapz. yeah - if you want to go right, and your left is your pivot, you put your right foot forward, but it doesn't seal off the man in front of you. you essentially just open up your body to your defender
but if you're driving right and you put the left foot forward, that creates a barrier between you and the defender, seals the defender on your hit, and gives you that step - that's what Jordan is trying to explain in the video i posted up this thread
@@CammyClapz. if you're driving left, the first foot out from a triple threat position normally should be your right foot for the same reason. ball on your left hip in triple threat, left foot the pivot, shoot that right foot forward first and the defender is sealed on your hip. if you use your left foot first, it's generally to go laterally or move back. using the right is to go by your man
