Welcome back. In this video I will go through the Hyper-V product of Microsoft. I will show you guys how to enable Hyper-V in Windows 11, how to create switches, how to create virtual machines and how to assign/change virtual machines.

Thanks, 1st time I check this feature, heard about it for some time.
When setting up Hyper-V for Windows 11 you have to use Generation 2. The problem is that Generation 2 causes a Start PXE over IPV4 error. To get around this, hold down the shift key when clicking start.
ok if it fails to install the hyper v (it says to me pc ) when restarting after 1 min it says that fail to install hyper v and cancelling the install and it roll back before i click the hyper V.
my pc spects
msi mobo 550 torpido
5600X ryzen 5 CPU
16 ram
i have active from bios all that need.....
Hyper already running in win 10 after upgrading to win 11 my hyper v is running ,but I am not able to connect my physical laptop to hyper v network..... After seeing this video I am able to do so... Thank you
What are you using to boot the ISO on to the VM? Every time I try to point the installer to the ISO file it fails. Do I really need to use a USB?
I really appreciate your videos, you are way more helpful than most!
Do you think you could create a video explaining basic uses with this using proxies?
For example: I want to leave a webpage open on multiple VM's in the background out of sight.

I can see multiple comments which seem to struggle on how to implement this.
- If you don't have Hyper V on your machine, you must update your windows home to Windows Pro
- If you see the 'Use PXE over IPv4' message at the startup of your VM, try setting 'Generation 1' rather 2.
- If you have a message saying stm like ISO not being loaded or doesn't meet the requirements, download windows iso 10 rather 11, or crank up the storage space for Windows 11.
Windows 10 will take off about 15gb of your storage.
im not sure about the Windows 11.

Why does it keep saying there is not enough memory when it is a new computer with nothing on it? It has hyper-v pre installed onto a windows 11 pro dell inspirion 24 inch all in one computer.

Search for a bat file online. I didn't have hyperv and that batch file saved me. Now I have Hyper V installed

you probably have windows 11 home. this does not work on home editions.

Open notepad and copy & paste this script then save the file name with .cmd extension and run the cmd file as administrator.

When I try to setup new virtual machine, The following message appear :
"Unable to allocate 8192 MB of RAM insufficient system resource exist to complete the requested service".
how to get the windows iso? i dont have it

Because you are probably using Windows Home Edition. Hyper-v is only available in Windows Pro, Enterprise and Education Edition
@@surojit_mondalDamn that sucks. I tried running BlueStacks today (a program that let's you run Android games on PC) and it wants to enable Hyper-V and restarts my pc after some kind of installation. But after restart BlueStacks will just ask it again and if i ignore it the software shuts down. Probably because i have the home edition and therefore the installation failed. Why would BlueStacks do this? Did they release some update while not thinking about this issue that home users won't be able to run it anymore?

It's incredibly complicated
Compared to Virtual Box by oracle, it is.
Maybe you can try that one.
Works much more simple in my experience. Much less steps to do.
But also more work to do once you want to do more then just basic stuff (running virtual windows and not connecting between your pc and the machine)

If you have Windows 11 Home, the you won’t have it. An alternative would be Oracle Virtualbox, though I don’t believe you can run virtual switches with that
