Time ago I use to listen more punk bands that now, Thrash has some basis on punk but is more elaborated than it, and can keep or even get over the energy from punk

There are some thrash bands that I just throw in with the punk bands haha. I mean if you look into the origins of thrash you will find it has really strong roots in punk rock to begin with.
