It really depends. Some I do about twice a year as long as it is warm and atleast a month of fairly nice and warm weather after. But these days, I only have time to do about once a year on my trees.
@@VicTheFigGuy thanks for answering my question so fast! How long do you recommend me waiting to defoliate after repotting? I just repotted my ficus a few days back. It's still the first half of spring for me.
@@getrekt9899 It kind of depends on how vigorous your tree is and whether you did much root pruning. Though with healthy vigorous Ficus trees, it shouldn't take very long at all. So without knowing the exact thing you did as well as the age and health of the tree, you can usually tell that it is ready to be defoliated if you see your trees actively growing new leaves.

Awesome tree
More ficus please!!!!
Thanks for sharing sir.
Can you please do another video of how you create air roots. If there essentially branches, how can you make sure they don’t become too large?
❤
Can you please do another video showing how you use the branches,
For the aerial roots?
So branches whit no leaves dont die ?
No. As long as tree is healthy and there are nodes, which is where leaves grown from, new shoots will develop and grow into new branches.
how often do you do this from the start of spring to autumn?
