I’m so glad I found this video. I already crochet and have really interested in trying Tunisian but the curling really bothers me. After I watched this I tried this stitch on one of regular crochet hooks and no curl! I went to the craft store this morning and bought a Tunisian hook and started a project. I would love to see other videos from you for other stitches or patterns that don’t curl!
@@CustomComfyCrochetByDawnMarie I said purl (misspelled on my part) stitch…not curl stitch. That is the Tunisian stitch you look like you are doing. I was just wondering how many rows should one do before starting with a pattern that includes other stitches. 😊 Also, do you do your stitch at the top of one’s project too, to keep the top from curling? TY
@@ronnaalthoff9175 this is a pattern on its own. I guess you could start any project with this stitch and continue on with something different but I’m not sure it would keep it from curling.

Wow 😮 should take apart my work and do it this way bc the curling drives me crazy!! Tfs love your 💅, by the way!❤

This looks like a purl stitch. Very clever.
So how many rows of this Tunisian pearl stitch would you recommend to keep the edge from curling before you continue on with a pattern? TY ☺️
@@ronnaalthoff9175 I’m not sure what you mean? This is no curl stitch
