My problem is my apple remote auto turns on the soundbar all the time which is annoying when I'm trying to watch tv at night and everyone is in bed. How do I have it JUST control my tv volume and NOT the soundbar. As soon as I turn on the apple tv the soundbar auto turns on. Uggh
Hi, thanks for the video! I used to be able to control the volume whilst connected via bluetooth to my Denon pma-600ne amplifier. I would set the amplifier to a certain fixed volume and then control the volume with my appletv remote. This was great as I had better control of the volume, the amplifier is too aggressive increasing or decreasing the volume by a lot. Some days ago I stopped having this control, I see the volume moving up and down but there's no change in the sound which remains at whatever level I fixed on the amplifier. I tried resetting the apple tv and also tried what you show in the video but to no avail. Do you have any idea what might be causing this and how to fix it? Thanks

I did exactly what you said but still can’t control the LG sound bar😢
I was struggling too but then read to reset the remote itself by holding the tv and volume down buttons and now it works like a charm

In the video and Audio section you can find “reduce loud sounds”, just turn on. That change maybe can help you.
