Now when the metro is closed, here are steps how to reproduce the bug: 1. Click on a skill you don't want to use. 2. Now drag the skill you want to use on enemy's notch. 3. Click on the same enemy's notch. 4. As a result the dragged skill will be changed to the one you clicked in step 1. 5. Remove the skill and repeat for how many times you want.
From the screen freezing I'll assume that it's once again a connection issue similar to the one we had back on Season 1, exception being that the issue has either evolved into a bigger problem or the players took the bug as an Abnormality and managed to reap it's power after some research.

From what I’ve seen, it looks like you trick the game into thinking you are in the skill selection menu when you really aren’t. This allows you to stack skills because the game never thinks you stopped selecting skills until you hit start turn. This would also explain why you sometimes see more than one skill selection menu.
Did this yesterday on centipede with Rabbit Heathcliff yesterday and the total damage reaches to 4000s lmfao 💀 If I kept it going then it'll be even higher
I really, really, REALLY hope someone explains how this occurs once it gets patched. I have literally 0 interest in using it, because I am not personally a fan of cheating mechanics, but I am so fucking curious on just why this happened. I want to know so goddamn bad, but it's gonna be awhile before people are allowed to freely talk about it. Or PMoon explains why it happens when they patch it. Either way, this is going to bug me until it gets fixed.
The process for it is kinda esoteric. You have to first select a skill, then select the other skill in that slot and drag it to an enemy's slot (hence why Abnormality battles are where it's being shown). After that, you click the slot you just dragged it to, and it'll change it to the skill you originally selected. This just makes you clash with the other skill normally, but if you click the now-selected skill, deselecting it, and then do the process again, it'll use the skill an additional time. Rinse and repeat and you get funny damage. Notable observations are as follows: firstly, any clashing attacks from the enemy are similarly duplicated until the enemy is either staggered or dead. If dead, the additional attacks don't happen anymore because, of course, the enemy is dead and can't be attacked. Secondly, attacks don't actually get bonus power during the attacks unless the previous attack was unopposed. In a clash, the skill will roll coin power gained from the previous skill use, but this isn't translated into the skill that's used afterwards. While it's much more likely to win the clash (Mutilate rolling a 30 on a tails doesn't lose), that bonus power isn't used for the skill's actual damage after the clash. Once staggered, however, this changes, and the "base" value carries over. What I think is happening is each use of the skill sets its "base" value as whatever the skill last rolled for the next instance of that skill's use, so the damage after you win a clash and use the skill means the next clash is also going to use that previous roll as the "base" despite it not being that. Maybe it's a variable that's stored so the game can display damage text? I don't have access to game files so I don't know. However, the game recognizes after winning the clash that the skill should only have a "base" value of what that skill's actual base value is, resetting it and causing Mutilate to roll a 5 on a tails again. When the enemy is staggered, this doesn't happen because you're not winning clashes and therefore the reset doesn't happen; as a result, you can start rolling respectable damage on Chef Gregor. Basically, it looks like this is the duplication bug interacting with the intended way the skill is meant to function in a funny way that allows us to both have infinite attacks and infinite damage on infinite attacks. Edit: Something I noticed as well is that the duplicated skills don't generate EGO resources, which suggests that the duplication itself is the game treating the follow-up attacks as one skill, which is likely also why it's carrying over the prior value of the skill.
Cause the coins are adding straight to the base value of the skill, therefore making the final value of the skill it's base for the next time it's used
The optimal strat from my testing is have NClair use a bunch of skills turn 1 until corrosion and then stack your corroded EGO for an easy 2 turn kill (take that multi-phase bosses).
I dont understand why the power sometimes scales and sometimes doesnt Is coin power carrying over from one skill to another? Why doesnt it always work?
It might be an absolute resonance taking place? The near infinite amount of skills seem to add to the skill chain making the A resonance stronger and stronger? That was my assumption anyway
