The fact that they decided to make that update after nearly 10 years tells me that the game should last at least another 4-5 years, hopefully even more. The changes are great!
Hmm didn't think of that. Yeah that sound like Dokkan will be around for a good amount of time. Maybe they also will be optimizing the game too.

I've been thinking that the game would be coming to an end sooner than later so I agree after this new news, it will be here quite a bit longer. Now we need to get them to add another difficulty to all red zone stages and the like, start adding multiple category missions for different events often. We need more category and challenge missions too they have been severely lacking in the hard content missing department.
@@leeroy5665 I agree, but I guess it depends on how high the demands are for category missions and such. I'm sure a new battle mechanic will be introduced on the 10th year, along with maybe Super 4 difficulty on the events. The new update is just a small taste of what we're getting. I can't wait to see more of what they'll bring!

Man, I think I'll miss the old screen menu and number font a lot, but the newer stuff definitely looks amazing. I've been begging for a color switch option for the homescreen since day one, being able to switch to a blue or red or pink scouter instead of the green, or such qol mods in general. Seems like they're finally going in such a direction.

No mention of it to be a dual dokkan fest. Only one dokkan event teaser was announced in game news. Looking like it could be 1 banner just like the gamma 1 and 2 banner from 2 years ago.

Love that characters and the updates coming. Wonder what Glorio's links will be being on Demonic Power. I'm glad I was lucky on the 150 DS Gotenks banner and I hope to get at least one of the DAIMA units. Would make my day if they added comma's lol. I'm always like is that 55M or 5.5M. Would be great if they have been working on optimizing the game , both running and the size even though I don't have problems with that. More updates announced closer to the 10th anniversary.

I’m so glad it’s Daima, I love it but I need to skip to try and make 2500 by 10th, but because it’s here it’s coming back around April and I’m fine waiting til then, especially with more Daima units from further in the series possibly coming by then.

I think doing Daima here it's the right and correct choice. I believe, though I could be wrong, but a lot of people weren't excited for Daima especially for Legends Fest, so they made the right choice for not doing it for anniversary, since if they did. I feel the community would have been very but very dissapointed.
I'm excited for this and the animations for Daima Goku look incredible, though Glorio I like the animations but at times it feels low budget in terms of some moments in quality. But also I believe some people are hype for this, I am just glad we are getting this now and not later.
Smart move and for those who don't care, the easiest skip of they're life just arrived.
Also W update from the team, shows they have plans for this game to continue on. Went 10th anniversay 2 starts, we will begin our second season of Dragon Ball Z Dokkan battle.
You know people always ask “will this game be around in 30 years?” And normally people would say no, especially with how dated it is…but with some of these new changes, oh see ya’ll at the 30th anniversary 🫡
They said they won’t do all characters at once cause that’s over 3,000 characters but periodically over time. They did say the anniversary units will confirm to have the new idle animations so the 4 LRs and 2 banner units. If there was any sort of incentive to save for anniversary uhhhhhh there it is! Dokkan 2 launches in January 😌

Yeah as great as the animations look, Daima is an easy skip. 10th Anniversary is right around the corner. Hopefully Super Gogeta is on one of the banners or i'll cry
Btw to me it feels more like a Dokkan 1.5 unless they start making drastic changes on the home screen like they did on the battle screen.

Both kits and animations look insane, and the interface and gameplay updates will definitely make the game even more enjoyable, I can't wait. Gotta make sure to have storage in my phone, cause that update will likely be a huge one.
Still don't know whether I'll be summoning or not, I'll likely wait to see their showcases at 55% before deciding.

odds are if you update the kid goku and ssj goku sprites it will update for all versions

Aside from how great the animations are visually, they just seem like something from 2015.
Maybe they were just going for simple bc Daima (from what I understand) is pretty barebones compared to Super.

Daima is actually more visually stunning and complex than Super. In fact the animations that Dokkan managed to make match almost perfectly with the actual series.
