    Need to have a decent woodstove PLUS propane vented heater... No matter what you have installed already, add these, otherwise you are waiting for troubles.

    Good info! I wonder if a modest portable power station and some low wattage space heaters could at least keep the pipes from freezing. Years ago, my dad used to keep old fashioned light bulbs on next to pipes because the bulbs gave off a little bit of heat. It seemed to work but that was in Virginia, not Alaska! Thanks, Jamin!

      Yep I would like to have a wooden stove hopefully my future house up in Alaska
