I was just scrolling through Facebook when I came across your add. 2 days later I made my 1st purchase of 3 star wars VC figures and was blown away by how affordable your prices are.
Welcome aboard!
Just means some adjustments when I choose what figures to buy. Some of them I can wait for clearance.
Just saw the new Spiderman Preorders today. Hasbro is greedy. Now collecting will be picky choosy. Have fun with that.
I remember when i went to the store with my dad and got a hot rod figure for ten dollars, and later for my birthday got a superion figure for 79 dollars. Chuckles in the good old days.
Screams in 600 dollar combiners and 30 dollar tiny figures
Yeah its not ideal and sizes of things
have also gotten smaller ( previous leader class compared to now )
TRU prices are getting way up there for the same items. Leader class transformers went from 69.99 a year ago to 84.99 at Tru thats a crazy %17 increase. Commander classes at Tru went from 119.99 to 139.99 and their deluxes went from 29.99 to anywhere from 34.99 up to 37.99. This hobby may be getting too expensive for me.
Yeah thats just toys r us though other toy stores should be closer to msrp
No matter how anyone justifies it, the end reason is greed. They constantly are squeezing every penny out of remakes, repaints, etc, and now its shipping and covid, blah blah blah. Mcfarlane has the same packaging, and the same prices at a 7 inch figure, AND he puts out double the figures these people do in terms of waves. Hell, he hasnt delayedanything. It goes up for preorder and a month later its out. I hate his figures, but hes a smaller company and manages ro pull it off, so im not gonna buy into any more excuses. Now, Im saying this and I HATE his figures. But facts are facts.
Inflation happened during WFC Siege, between Earthrise/Kingdom and now yet again with Legacy, it's just too much too fast and some of these products don't even come close to the quality you'd expect for the price anymore. Sadly, I think this is going to be a breaking point for alot of people.
I really hope peoples salary's keep up. End of the day if inflation is 7% your salary should go up 7% .
It’s gonna get to the point where myself as a collector and I’m sure others too are just gonna stop buying certain figures because they’ll be too much for there quality. Of course I’ll still collect my favourite lines of figures just not as much.
@@ToySnowman Haven't had a raise in 5 years at the company I work for, so this hobby is starting to get real expensive for me.
@@LMG3D3DPrintingEnthusiast 5 years ouch. I would definitely be looking for other jobs. As in 5 years even before all this you wouldve been losing 2 to 3% a year by normal inflation. So that already puts you 10 to 15% down. Not to sound rude but your employer should definitely be raising you at least per year 2% and now with the job shortages might be a good time
Hey,do you guys ship to India? Also, what's your payment method?Do you guys accept debit card?
Hello, we do ship to parts of India but that can only be checked on our website if the adress is one of the areas
@@ToySnowman I live in the state of West Bengal in India. Could you please check? Marvel Legends availability has been crappy for the last 2 years, and you have 'em up to date on your website with reasonable shipping. I really want to order from you,
@@rishav-2749 you should look and get a drop ship adress. It would probably be cheaper for you and for us to ship to a drop ship adress. In canada. But otherwise check our website and see if we do them to your exact adress
Great video. Nice production. News, not so great.
I know im sorry !!!
LOL ! Funny update. (I’m crying inside)
so am i... so am I ....
I don't care when Botbots Series 6 come out I buy then all.
So if we already paid for a preorder for something that comes out after March, are we gonna get dinged again to account for that markup?
No. We are absorbing that.( wouldn't be fair )
We will be changing our price from now though to reflect the change.
*Does Hasbro WANT to go out of business? Hasbro's greed astounds me. Transformers is a luxury, not a necessity. And when it comes down to either food or TFs, food is going to win every time. Hasbro execs and shareholders ought to take a pay cut. They've had a free ride long enough. If the rest of us have to tighten our belts, so should they.*
Fr bruh they are trying to make me buy a 79 dollar figure for frickin 600 dollars and im not even exaggerating
Man, it sucks, but what are we gonna do about it? I know you dont want to hear this, but I have been buying as much as I can on sale. I've got all marvel legends from last year up-to colossus wave on sale. Ive been avoiding full price, its just too much for a high volume collector. $36 a figure is insanity and almost enough to leave the hobby
Yeah its not the best noone want to pay more even we dotn wanna pay more. But this is more of a fact of life then Blaming it on someone's greed. If people salary's increase by the rate of inflation then this is a nothing burger But if your not getting a salary increase = to inflation then it makes a difference.
I appreciate everything you and your people offer in the way of quality product condition and sales and you have a right to earn a decent living, of course, but didn't you say Marvel Legends would go from $33.99 to $35.99? They're now $37.99 on your site.
I wish Biden had raised the minimum wage, which would've massively reduced the trucker shortage and supply chain issues, but he serves the billionaires almost as much as Trump like all neoliberals.
We gave the New msrp. That hasbro has announced and reccomend. As to give a base info for our customers to know. If you enter any shop whether its walmart or toys r us what is the mark up amount is. While some of our price is msrp we cannot have it all at msrp
I under stand not always your choice you still have some good price on your site hell looking for kingdom megatron for months Galvatron keeps canceling on me hes getting hard to find at a good price to the last to leaders I need got Optimus Rodimus and primal siege Megatron so two left
We are always trying to stay near msrp ( 1 or 2$ more )
Your prices are the norm for the shops that sell TFs, I'm still buying from you guys.
have you seen the new pricing at toys r us canada for transformers? its insane. studio series deluxes are now $42.99 canadian from $35, studio series voyager are now $49.99 Canadian from $45 and studio series leader class is now the insane price of $ 84.99 Canadian from $72.99. the before prices are all new prices from the last price increase from just 2 months ago at toys r us Canada, I'm done buying from toys r us canada.
Thank you for the support. (Our prices are as close to Msrp as we can. 1 or 2$ difference ) I just wanted people to know msrp is changing starting march 28th and we gotta follow suit but wow 42.99 now thats way above msrp 0_o
Could be worse, TRU Is charging $42.99 for a deluxe. Could of been an error but that’s what I saw
Well IDK about that I just gave MSRP these are always recommend price they dont have to follow.
I hate inflation but.... I WANT A TOY SNOWMAN T SHIRT!!
Ill hook you up on your next shipment what are you, S/M/L/XL/XXL?
bru i want one godzilla vs kong sh monsters for my b day
He's got Kong back on stock
Hardcore collectors will keep buying. May lose some casual fans, but they will move to occasional or bargain hunter-mode.
I want to say this will hurt the industry, but based on what I've seen these last 2-years, I don't think it will.
If salary grow by the same percentage then it should stay about the same.
The problem with the price increases is seeing the upcoming Transformers Legacy line to be a slight step down in quality also... seems like a double hit to consumer value and that might cause more than a few to reduce or stop collecting. War for Cybertron brought in a lot of new collectors because of nostalgia, netflix and VALUE but not sure Legacy can keep them.
@@ransaktehelder4260 war for cybertron and kingdom have been great I hope legacy keep the flame lit
@@ToySnowman I don't see cost of living catching up, this year anyways.
That said, I feel collectors will still voraciously buy up these luxury items for the next 2 quarters. The question is, will the interest rate hikes (one coming immanently for Canadians) cause the cooling to be massive or just mild hiccup? Not sure.
I am not a panicked doomsayer-collector, so the hobby isn't going off a cliff with price hikes (imho), but I agree with @Ransak Teh Elder that the consumer will be anxious for more value in their purchases.
