Tan q very much. I got one doubt when gas pressure checking time.vacuum time and top up time suction line and liquid line (i.e discharge line )valve we dont do anything ? Wht condition is both valve .whenever use both valve close and open. Make one video.

1. OG ac 1.5 ton R22 gas pressure while running is 45 pressure . AC technician told it is manageable.

I have few doubts. Before that I just want to clear you the situation.
I am from Chennai. We are shifting a Whirlpool AC from one place to another (uninstall from old place and then install in new place). The AC was in completely working condition in the old place. While removing the tube in half pipe valve in the outdoor unit, the mechanic told me that the valve is leaking and while removing the gas will completely go and will have to fill the gas again and no other option. We didn't know much about the mechanism and asked them to continue with the uninstallation. I was able to see the gas going out from the half valve for some time. He got Rs.2500 for gas from us. Then he shifted the AC to new place and tried to flare the half pipe. After fitting with the flare nut, when he opened the half pipe valve, I saw the gas was coming out because the connection was not tight and I could see the gas coming out. When I asked him if the gas is filled, he told NO and it is not filled yet. And when I saw videos of gas filling in youtube, I came to know that gas filling can be done only when the machine is on to check the suction and standing pressure. We did not switch on the machine yet because half pipe is leaking and quarter pipe is not connected also. My doubts are,
1.) If the valve of half pipe is not working, how is the gas is still there in the compressor? Is that possible? When I asked him how the gas is coming, he told that is pressure. (How pressure is possible without gas?)
2.) If he is really trying to cheat, How can I prove that he is trying to cheat me.

Had 10+ Yrs of LG 1.5 split ac normal old model non-invertor...refilled R22 -Gas..but again after 2 days no cooling, than technician said no leakage in outer unit but might be mild leakage in inner unit, he said better to change with new indoor unit only since outdoor unit is good...my question is will outdoor unit will also create problem since it is 10+ Yrs old...so should I change both indoor and outdoor as a new set itself.., can we repair leakage in condenser coil...???
