Stefan I think you are the (undisputed?) worldwide master of German romantic repertoire on classical guitar. Clear memories of this concert still remain until this day, celebrating the beautiful guitars of Bert Kwakkel. Also many thanks to the wonderful work of GitaarSalon and their high video and audio quality (quite rare in 2011!). It's a real shame this series (concerts in Etten) is closing shop, having been one of the best guitar series of the Netherlands for many years. Luckily we still have these video's!

A grand performance - superior play. I had to close my eyes to avoid looking at the over the top facial expressions. I can imagine that one gets very involved in the music when playing - still a pity he does that so much - but nevertheless a beautiful performance
Warum denn wohl nicht?? Die Kirche ist übrigens seit vielen Jahren stillgelegt, da niemand mehr hingeht... Vielleicht wäre es sinnvoll etwas offener zu sein. Es ist ja kein Punkrock !
@@Stefan76 Unwissenheit schützt vor Strafe nicht. Wenn Sie es nicht genau wissen, ob es noch geheiligter Boden ist oder nicht, wie es aussieht, dann lassen Sie es doch einfach bleiben und spielen z. B. in einem Festsaal eines Schlosses. Die Akustik ist an vielen Orten gut. Ihr Seelenheil ist durch Profanierung eines geweihten Ortes in Gefahr.
@@andreasmallinckrodt209 PFFFF... Natürlich weiß ich das es kein "geheiligter Boden" ist. Eine Strafe gibt es dafür zum Glück nicht... Konzerte in Kirchen sind zum Glück erlaubt und von dem Großteil der Gläubigen auch mit Begeisterung angenommen. Alles Gute weiter und viel Erfolg!
