I remember the commercial on TV for this in 1972. The narrator said "The phone isn't the only thing dead around here" while zooming in on a dead eye peeking out of a wicker basket. It made an impact because we were just talking about this movie 50 years after we first saw it! Thank you for uploading!
I just serendipitously found this old 1970’s made for tv movie, and those classic 70’s scary made for tv movies are so fun to watch. I believe also this is just about the king of “storms/rainstorms” scary movies lol. The added element of dark rainy nights and thunder and lightning storms always makes these old scary movies all that much more spookier and enjoyable imo. This old 1972 flick has that Dan Curtis vibe to it as well! Starring the late great Elizabeth Montgomery and co-starring in the Mother Nature role from hell, t-storms and rain. The Victim is a recommended old classic made for tv thriller from the seventies!
Thank you Louise for putting the little bug in Vincent s ear, I was going to let him know about Dick York, and why DickSargeant was brought in but you did that, I just love T.V. Horror, Thriller, Sci-Fi, and Mystery movies and shows and that is the majority of my collection!!!Gary Bailey KingofDarkness
Awesome 👏🏻, can’t believe I’ve never heard of this movie 🎥 🍿 when I’ve seen pretty much everything along these lines. Looking 👀 forward to seeing this one.
I just adore Tangella I just love the show all of you are great!!! I would love to have Tangella to SLICE and CUT ME UP WITH LOVE!!!. LOVE ALL YOU GUYS
This film has everything. Lack of marriage counselling.. drink driving..equal opportunity employment for the deaf housekeeper...until she was fired that was. And a murder. I'm not convinced the husband did it. He wasn't horrible enough otherwise the pets would have been scared of him. I'm sceptical of the integrity of the police officers too. Finding a screaming drunk woman behind the wheel of a car with her dead sister in the back and a husband squashed against a tree should warrant further Investigation. That's exactly why I loved it all. Keep up the good work.
A freaky forgotten about film that rates highly on it's interest-maintaining and spookiness. A good choice for haunted house buffs and haloween nights.
Someone please tell Vincent that the first Darrin did not die at that time. Dick York suffered a severe back problem that made sitting or standing unbearable. So he couldn't do the show anymore.
Looking forward to seeing this film, never heard of it before. Great to see Elizabeth Montgomery, so lovely. Oh and Eileen Heckart, from the classic 'The Bad Seed.' Keep up the great work, everyone at Creature Features. And a blessed Merry Christmas too! ⛄💕
Surprised at the quality of this film. Excellent building of tension, and a peppering of clues here and there, combined with an eerie atmosphere make this a very watchable mystery. Please tell Miss Tangela I subscribed several months ago,
Great movie its a good thriller with no gore. I've seen 3 movies with Elizabeth Montgomery. Some time ago. Making this my fourth one of her. my favorite is her being a reporter acting like a detective I really loved that one. I was hoping it would become a series. The other two were darker ones. Maybe you guys should have a live in doctor it would save time. Take care.
26:55 This scene is very hard to believe - without having to press a lot of annoying extension numbers she gets through to the operator, who is a REAL PERSON, not a machine, who then begins to actually help her without asking her age, her date of birth, her national insurance number, her hospital number, her post code, and her shoe size.
Love you all. Tangella sharpening ax? Too funny 🤣. You are extremely validated. Your viewers really do love you and we are loyal to Creature Features. Love you all ❤
I agree, the bad seed was great and so controversial at the time. It almost got an X rating because it was unthinkable that a little girl could be that bad.
My Mom + GOD rest her soul + used to call me The Bad Seed since I was a horrible child. So what did I become when I grew up; a teacher of troubled youngsters. GOD has His Ways.
Elizabeth Montgomery was the hottest female on prime time television, and still is along with Dawn Welles, and now they are both past on. The world always seemed a little bit more beautiful when they both were still here. It's hard to believe that I'm older than Elizabeth when she past on, and how sweet Dawn must have made the world around her. Wherever I fantasize I always wonder witch one I could pick to be mine, and then the world around me crumbles back to reality! Well with both of them in heaven at least I know heaven would be a good place to be;....but not yet; not yet. The world misses you both, and I have all seasons of Gilligan's Island and Bewitched! I love you both from afar; Dan from Nebraska 🇺🇸😍
Yes, I also still watch my favorite, The Beverly hillbillies, Ellie Mae was so beautiful and natural and I just liked her style and talk. It’s great to be able to go back into time without actually being there.
Tangella is so tiny! I lived with a lady like that! So small and yet she was able to stab a stainless steel sink with a dull knife and make holes in it! Wow!!!😮
According to *IMCDb, the gorgeous automobile which is used by Elizabeth Montgomery in this film (The Victim 1972) is a Bentley S2 1962 Continental Flying Spur.
There have been many attractive actresses who have graced the silver screen - Elizabeth Montgomery was no exception. She, along with Barbara Eden, Sally Fields, Lindsey Wagner, Farrah Fawcet, and Kristy McNichol were notable women/actresses I grew up watching and having a crush on as a child. R.I P. Elizabeth Montgomery ❤
Bewitched S4.E21 'Hippie, Hippie, Hooray' / Serena has gone hippie and ends up on the front page of the newspaper and Darrin has to explain to the Tates about her identical cousin. (air date Feb 1 1968)
Step aside Jamie Lee Curtis - you've got some competition for Scream Queen! Who knew Elizabeth Montgomery (R.I.P.) had it in her. Anyway hello to all thanks for the upload. You guys are amazing. Please keep up the great work. I look forward to the notification from your channel.
Damn I was 5 when this move was on TV for movie of the Week, I'm sure my Mom watched it, but I was too young and no doubt in bed already, I hated going to bed early and I'm sure my older Brothers got to watch it,
The way the credits roll in on this movie is very much the way they looked on TV shows of the period, like Colombo, McMillan and Wife, Night Gallery or The Night Stalker.
I remember the commercial on TV for this in 1972. The narrator said "The phone isn't the only thing dead around here" while zooming in on a dead eye peeking out of a wicker basket. I REMEMBER@@bluemoon3699
Elizabeth Montgomery is one of the prettiest women to ever have walked the face of this planet.
You seem to have a crush on her ...
how could we not be?
she's so loveable !
Indeed
yes ..after Tangella
Not only beautiful, but she had a most distinctive voice recognizable to anybody from the 60s!
Shame it's a man as are all of h wood
Another made for TV thriller spectacular from 1972 with the lovely Elizabeth Montgomery. The anticipation builds...!
@carly Hello, that's a very good question...there programming choices are quite similar. Hmmm!
Wtf is all lost in tv land ???
Great restoration work, wonderful clarity and color.
I've never heard of this one but it's really good ! Thanks ! I've always loved Elizabeth Montgomery!
Ditto
She was, absolutely loveable. Most everybody liked her at Screen Gems.
@carly , oh wow, yes ! She was so good in that !! I should watch that again !
I thought it was good too
If you liked Elizabeth here... try to find her other 1970's thriller called "THE LEGEND OF LIZZIE BORDEN" and her twisted thriller "AMOS"
Love the fact that you're finding movies I've never heard of...!
This is a great movie!! I have it in my You Tube favorites!! But I will watch it again with Vince and the gang!!
me too
You guys really make life worth living.. Seriously
really good movie with terrific hosts!
@Chris, no woke garbage.
What a wonderful Evening with our hosts. Couldn’t get any better then this 🎃
Thanks!
I would gladly watch anything with Elizabeth Montgomery in it. Even this "gem" can't change my mind. Thanks!

This was the first TV-Movie Elizabeth Montgomery did after Bewitched ended...it first aired on November 14, 1972
12 days after my 4th birthday
Fact: November 14, 1972 the same day that Josh Duhamel was born.
Awesome 👏🏻, can’t believe I’ve never heard of this movie 🎥 🍿 when I’ve seen pretty much everything along these lines.
Looking 👀 forward to seeing this one.
I really liked it!
I just adore Tangella I just love the show all of you are great!!! I would love to have Tangella to SLICE and CUT ME UP WITH LOVE!!!. LOVE ALL YOU GUYS
Loving the era of movies recently, 👍🤘👍
The best intro in the business :)
That car she's driving is absolutely beautiful. Stunning.
It's a Bentley S2 Continental Flying Spur.
Whose looking at the car!!???
OMG this movie is so good. The suspense is killing me! 🙏✌️📽️
Love all of you, Creature Features, movies.
Great flick. Saw it for the first time years ago. But then, you can't go wrong with Elizabeth Montgomery.
I look forward to you guys every week!

The sentence starting 'Finding a ...' is a gem😂
Definitely a Flail! Enjoying the movie and your Antics!🥰
A freaky forgotten about film that rates highly on it's interest-maintaining and spookiness. A good choice for haunted house buffs and haloween nights.
*its
Elizabeth was a great actress.
And very beautiful.
"The Victim"
A woman is trapped alone with a murderer inside a house during a storm. The electricity and phone are not working.
Love this house, beautiful decor, antiques, furniture. Gorgeous.
It has been Saturday All Week. I subscribed to your channel and have been watching several episodes a day. Great stuff and Great show.
Oh wow I have never seen this, Vincent! Superb!
This is perfect during a storm!
Someone please tell Vincent that the first Darrin did not die at that time. Dick York suffered a severe back problem that made sitting or standing unbearable. So he couldn't do the show anymore.
That’s correct!
Looking forward to seeing this film, never heard of it before. Great to see Elizabeth Montgomery, so lovely. Oh and Eileen Heckart, from the classic 'The Bad Seed.'

That's the most rain I've seen on a sunny day.
On a dark and stormy night....groovie things happen. See you Saturday!
I've been watching your show and noticed the art work and furniture. Love it well done. Like the movies and all of you. Keep up the good work.❤😁
Elizabeth Montgomery is awesome and a true natural beauty and excellent actress!!
Looks like THIS MOVIE is going to be really GROOVIE!
Yeah
*groovy

I'm guessing one was the Lizzy Bordon movie? =)
@@jamesanthony8438 I saw the Lizzy Borden. It was a movie of the week and not too bad
Back in the day when we had movies made for tv. Some were quite good.
I almost expected for her nose to twitch. Good scary movie!
And if she'd had to fly, she would have just bought a ticket with cash and walked on the plane like it was a bus!
@@curtismartin5225 No longer possible in us?
😂🤣🤣🤣
And movies didn't have woke agendas.
Hans, nope.
I really miss the 60's and 70's
Me too!
Love you all. Tangella sharpening ax? Too funny 🤣. You are extremely validated. Your viewers really do love you and we are loyal to Creature Features. Love you all ❤
I have not seen this. Thank you!
I actually enjoyed this movie. This movie kept me on my toes. Couldn't debate who was the killer. 100/100👍
Featured Guest: The good people from The Chat room.
The Victim: The good people from The Chat room.
Next Victim: #24 LIKE :)
Love these older movies from 70's and 80's. Like the beach scenes, interior decor, real actors acting. Not all the fake special effects.
I wonder how many people got the reference to "The Bad Seed" in the opening...it's a great twisted flick if you haven't seen it.
GOD has His Ways.

just found your channel and i LOVE IT, became a sub
They really had to pad this movie out because in the first 2 minutes of the killer stalking Elizabeth Montgomery, she turns him into a newt.
"A newt?!"
Killer: "... I got better."
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I love the holy Grail 🤣
That's because the action is set within a narco-syndicated commune - where each of the cast members take turns to play the killer.
The Bad Seed was good !
Haha, considering who is in this movie, I love The Bad Seed opening!
Tangella is so tiny! I lived with a lady like that! So small and yet she was able to stab a stainless steel sink with a dull knife and make holes in it! Wow!!!😮
Thanks for the movie. 😊

Someone else said it's a 1967 Silver Cloud Rolls Royce
Bentley first generation Spurs weren't made until 2005
Were all bewitched with Elizabeth Montgomerys acting
Hey y’all !!!! Love this show! It’s the best! ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥

Amazing to see a TV film from 1972 in such quality. Wish I understood the ending!
The main star of the film, without doubt, is her beautiful car!!!
Yes, everything was better in the 70s. The women, the cars, everything.
I was born dec1 1972 so im watching films today made in 72 xxx ❤❤❤❤❤
I love that these people think cats only eat cream LOL!

Definitely Serina from Bewitched, but I don’t know If she is singing her big hit ”If’n” or “I’ll Blow you a kiss in the wind”
SAMANTHA!

Wrong wig for Serena. Sheesh.
I know nothing about this movie, these 70s flicks have been great fun. Looking forward to all of you in the Chat and, of course, Miss Tangella.

Just like Tangella 👍 👌.
you have the best quality movie, nice
Ooooo! This looks like a good movie! 🤓 Great start!!
... Looking forward to watching this right now!!!
Dick York died in 92. He lest the show because of back issue and was replaced by Dick Sargant.
Wow. Is that Elizabeth Montgomery? Never heard of this one! How do you do it?
This one looks good thank you ✨🧡✨✨💚
Tangella , Your example of The Victim upon Handrew was delightful. Evil love, Tangella.
Dear Vincent, Mr. Livingston, and especially Tangela, I watch your program faithfully on RUclips and I am subscribed so please don't Murdalize me
I thought Serena was the groovy one 😵💫
Best Show Ever !
I was born and raised in Southern California. Love Central California coast, beautiful beaches.
Mr. Livingston: To Andrew.... " You do know that's your name?" ....... ME: Roflmfao 🤣😂.... Absolutely hilariously dry wittedly perfect delivery. 🤣😂
I would love to have a portrait photograph of Tangella wearing her black ensemble feauring her beautiful green eyes. 🎞
It's a shame the way Handrew picks on that poor, defenseless little girl.😊
Needs more phone calls.
Cell phones were invented because of this movie 😂😅
Why does she keep calling Sue and Mrs Hawks when nobody answers ?
