Different approach compared to Poland. They're stripped of useful stuff first (like seats, engine parts, destination displays, cables, etc.) and only then send to the scrapper on a trailer truck.
I find it hard to watch to see them good old buses being destroyed , we still have alot of Vanhool a600/2's running since 1993 but will be scraped at the end of tis year/ beginning next year and will be replaced by some crappy irisbus crossway le's :'(
I was in Cuba. all their busses were owerloaded and few compared with the demand. there should be a bus aid organisation to collect old city buses by buying them for scrap price for re use in developing areas. Sadly I dont feel qualified to start such organisation as I dont even have a busdrivers license, at least at the moment.
we send a lot of old busses from Denmark to Moscow right after the Berlin wall came down all of them ended up as waste, because no one in Russia knew how to fix automatic gearboxes, so lot´s of old dansih busses in Russia just ended up standing in parking lot for many many years, with nobody who could repair them when they broke.
Hi KimB10M. When the buses go to the scrap to be destroyed, they go with mechanical parts? (engine, gearbox, etc)? Don't they reuse these parts for spare or for sale as used to other countries for example? Best regards from Portugal and sorry about my bad english :-)
sometimes it is! especially when you are frustrated you can just let yourself go by destroying busses or cars. I also work on a scrapyard operating those machines. but on the other hand, it is an ordinary job, and not well paid for.
The Dennis trident in Singapore was scrapped in 2018 and the ones were LTA Singapore’s TFL nothing but a disgrace our TFL in Singapore which is called LTA rarely any buses that served Singapore get preserved it is very sad😔
well City-Bus(private company) where the owner, so private company paid for the bus and to have it scraped, and most of Series 6-7 busses from DAB where no good, lots of Series 3-5 still work
The clever part is when he puts it back together again

No passengers were harmed during the making of this video.
@KimB10M Thanks for your answer. However, as a busfan like I am, I feel very sad to see a still so good look bus being scrapped this way :-(

How useful?
Working on a scrapyard, I can tell you it is fun to tear apart buses. Honestly.
Do they still scrap buses anymore?
Oh my god! That was a great bus?!? What are they doing?!? :(
It was a pile of crap. Trust me, I used to drive it.
I can see a t-rex tearing and eating it's prey!
DESTRUCTION!!!! Cool video.

I scrapped bus in Roblox using a crowbar
Same also when with any vehicle instead of crowBar I use RPG or TNT or other Explosive
Gone with the wind, sad.
If they do this to Dennis Tridents I'm going scrap the people who scrapped them

I guess asking for a transfer is out of the question.

B10BLE var også en dejlig bus. Nu må vi så leve med disse Scania Omnilinks. Det er ikke samme bygge kvalitet. Overhoved ikke.

that must be a very fun job to have
У нас бы ,еще ездил бы он.
This guy must be getting paid by the hour not the bus.
El video de mi infancia
жестоко, прямо все с корнями отрывают!
Not like that Anywhere else around the world. Because they remove useful stuff first.
Why they scrap it it still ran
It was old and didn't meet emission standards anymore. Nobody wanted to buy it.
Расхерачили такой бусик,у нас бы ещё 20 лет ходил
Sad.
Even then it hurts to see that. :(
