I'm in the same category as well as the others. I was too hard on myself and I push away people because they may try to hurt me but I met two people who help me through the ups and downs and I find more friends who are really trustworthy and I will not be to hard on myself. Even some try to bring me down I am not the same person that they try to take down and I'm tougher than that because I'm broken and it's beautiful even they say I'm beautiful or not I am just plain old me.
All I can think about is the eventual fate of the people surrounding me and I come here and cry my heart out.

Same here. I tend to worry too much about what others think of me, even though I shouldn't. It's a battle that I've been fighting for years now. All my friends and loved ones tell me to be myself, and it's to be honest, it's one of the hardest things for me to do sometimes. I've been trying to listen to more songs like this one and "This Is Me" from "The Greatest Showman" to help me through this. And it seems to help. And to anyone else who's dealing with peer pressure and low self-esteem, I hope you know that you'll get through this and that the right people will love you for who you are. I wish you all the best.
I woke up feeling super, sad, unmotivated and depressed today. I've been sitting on the couch not wanting to move.. just thinking about life.. I always watch Kelly videos the second they drop but for some reason I avoided watching this one and I told myself I would watch it later. I started reading the comments to the video and saw that it is a really uplifting song, so I said what the hell and I listened to it. Halfway through I'm sitting on my couch with tears running down both sides of my face. These lyrics spoke to me, Kelly I love the song and direction that you chose with it. Makes me so excited to see the movie and hear all of your future projects!
My daughter is 16 years old and refers to herself as broken with 33 food allergies. We have never said it negatively since I believe we are all a little "broken." I love this song for the meaning behind it, and the fantastic sound it has. Great cooking song!

I agree... considering how plastic dolls are made to perfection, it is annoying how unique touches on dolls made from scratch are labeled "ugly". People have that same problem.
