This is an excellent presentation. When we conceptualized HRD in 1975 in India we presented it as Integrated HRD system and a year later pointed out various interdependencies and linkages between various sub-systems. TLDR Question - How do HR employees stop their needlessly complex jobs being replaced by AI? Answer - More needless complexity. Adding complexity and obfuscation to basic jobs is pointless when the workforce is intelligent. Its even more pointless when we are entering an era underlined by a competency crisis. The workforce is getting dumber by the day due in no small part to hiring practices which are championed by HR employees. Hire on merit, give a clear job description and reward performance.
Understanding the evolution of HR is crucial for driving meaningful impact within organizations.
