I don't understand why people don't like this. This is a piece of art! Dani did what he wanted to in a new image with different influence. Look at it as a completely new band without trying to involve subconscious thoughts with Dani and COF. Then you would see the depths of this song and technique the band has.
+SystemRichie I see what you're trying to say here, but with his unique voice it's difficult to tell the two apart. Especially considering the style COF has adopted over the last few years. Even the newer COF doesn't sound like the old stuff from the 90's. Keep in mind I'm not saying I don't like this new band, I'm just saying as compared to COF (especially their older stuff) it just sounds generic at best. It's a watered down version of a watered down Cradle of Filth. Of course this is simply my opinion.
Love his new singing style, it helps him to not break the voice as well as can understand the words lot more easier and he actually sing-like more, yet still keeping the same aggression and high vocals - mixing different techniques... When in early COF ages it was a bit monotonic
Love this video. I appreciate when people try new things and go out of their comfort zones. I love the complexity that Cradle exudes, yet Devilment is a solid thing in my humble opinion. I've always had a love of the strange and unusual. I'd say fire twirling (I know not the technical term) probably ranks up there in something I'd be worried to do if I didn't have skill in it haha, but I enjoy watching it. Personally, this video makes me wish I had ran away and joined a circus when I was smaller. I always wanted to be a graceful gymnast, yet not sure I had the courage for it. It can be hugely dangerous, yet also rewarding. First we see a new rope art video in Cradle, now we have this interesting mix of mad max meets circus, and fire...what more could one ask for? Speaking for myself, the whole circus rejects actually works for me HAHA (& to be fair, some of these people have incredible skill, there is no rejects involved in it, these people have worked some hard months and years to get this good, from the musicians to the performers).

People on here annoy me. They like CoF but hate Devilment. Ok? So you dislike what Dani Filth is doing. So what? He's branching out and trying different things. You try singing extreme metal for years. You'd want to eventually try a different genre. It's what people do. We change, and find new things. It's just human nature. Groove metal is amazing! I'm a metalhead. I listen to just about any kind of Metal. So I don't judge. Maybe everyone should do the same and not judge Dani? He's doing what he wants.
Interesting concept well executed, though I do wish they'd record a live video now, that for me is where the band truly comes into its own finally. Also, I like how this band polarizes opinion to such a degree, ironic people still watched this just to decry the results... but I think those days are numbered now the line up is so strong and hopefully the lyrical content can breathe outside the subject matter of being ether under the influence or shunned by the opposite sex.

yeah, this is kinda my feeling too...great song. It isn't Cradle, so it holds up. more of a straight up metal feel to it, a bit of a Pantera vibe in parts. Dani's vocals are still great and fits well with this style.

As a Cradle fan (old albums) to me it's like Cradle tunring to Rob Zombie. And it just gets into my head so much that I like it. Even if YES the new Cradle if better then anything else. Especially Deflowering. I vote +666 for both. Long life to Devilment

Yes it is like Slipknot = Stone Sour just with CoF! But there is a BIG but! If CoF would start playing like this I would be very disappointed! BUT instead they made another band for softer version of them. why not?! More metal to us to hear! Why cry? If you dont like go listen CoF! it is few clicks away!
