I realized that the secret to making a million is saving for a better investment. I always tell myself you don't need that new Maserati or that vacation just yet. That mindset helped me make more money investing. For example last year I invested 80k in stocks (with the help of my Financial Advisor of course) and made about 246k, but guess what? I put it all back and traded with her again and now I'm rounding up close to a million.

Very true, I started investing before the pandemic and that same year I pulled a profit of about $750k with no prior investing experience, basically all I was doing was seeking guidance from *ROCHELLE DUNGCA-SCHREIBER* who's a guru in the game, you can be passively involved with the aid of a professional.
It took me 3 years to stop trying to predict what's about to happen in the market based on charts studying because you never know. Please, i need the help of your Investment advisor.

The best strategy to use in trading is to trade a professional who understands the market quite well, that way maximum profit is guaranteed. Because I have learned along the way of my investment that research and analysis are important, note that experience is more needed, than luck when it comes to the financial market.

Sir, In forex pairs SPREAD TRADING do you recommend use of CCI (say on1H chart--cci 7,cci 14, cci30,cci50 values & add all these values on each pairs to spread & compare overpriced/underpriced leg).The pairs got to have correlations of at least 90%(say aud/usd &nzd/usd--aud/jpy &nzd/jpy--eur/jpy & gbp/jpy--gbp/aud & gbp/nzd etc.).Sell the overpriced & buy underpriced. This would give trader starting edge, staying power, size choice & risk control. You would be comparing deflection of prices summed up on multiple time frames(added up/robust) for asset A & B. I appreciate all wisdom.

This is the number one reason why traders fail. They either don't have a plan or can't follow one. Your plan should include setup, specific entry method, and how you will manage to your target. Once in a trade you should be on autopilot. Don't let the "emotional idiot you" deviate from your plan. Tweak plan as necessary but only after analysis of multiple trades.
With due respect, it is virtually impossible to measure emotions like " patience " or " fear " on a percentage basis. The problem that I see with these measurements is that they try to turn trading into science. Trading is anything but science. It is more of an art than science and you need to master your craft in order to become a consistently profitable trader.
You're part right and part wrong. If you take a look at traders that are more mechanic than most of retail traders, they perform better on the long run. Partially because they follow strict rules, where the less possible emotions are involved in their trading and because they've based their strategy on data,, on mathematics. So you're right it's difficult to measure emotions, though trading is kind of scientific too ;)

You are right that the retail traders who perform better are the ones who follow strict rules and they don't let their emotions wreak havoc on their P/L. You are wrong that trading is "kind of " scientific. It is like saying my sister in-law is half pregnant..

I’m all for this for people who love data and stats… But to be honest, journaling for myself, is completely useless. My experiences and issues are logged in my head from repetition. The SAME repetition that shows up in a journal… I was never a big note taker in school other than math formulas…. Because I knew I was hardly ever gonna look at that stuff. So personally, I think journaling is overrated but if one finds it helpful, go for it. I’m not here to knock it but I am tired of the narrative that if one isn’t doing this kind of detailed journaling, you’re not going to be successful. It’s just not true…. I don’t know. Maybe I’m just more self aware and honest with myself, and don’t need to see “on paper”, where I’m failing, because I begin to realize it internally. I mean the closest I come to journaling, is a notes section in my P/L log, that I fill out occasionally, to solidify an idea/issue to memory. But I rarely look back over it after that.
I never look back at my logs but the act of journaling helps me to not lie to myself, helps me to see my weakness. Some times I don't feel journaling because I'm angry because of my losses, but that is a sign in itself that needs to be overcome.
But for sure I believe after a while, it has to become natural and integrated as you mention it !
