Erratum: at 11:26 you should plug the output of the "Capture Attribute" node in the "Reverse Curve" node.

Great tool. I got the tool box but i am struggling a little. Waht I need to do is pretty simple animate a blanket over a sofa. I was really struggling with the hems. Is there an insdtruction video for how to use the geo nodes setup? I basically jsut need to add the hem setup to a plane. I have a vertex group added for it but what do I do from there? Thanks.

Came here to learn how to make procedural hems, went away learning how to:
    1. Select linked geometry with accumulate fields
    2. Properly use Repeat Zone.
    3. Some cool trigonometry on the extruding part of the hem
I have a question about the edge of the hem. Wouldn't it be easier to use a curve arc to define instead of multiple extrudes?

Glad you could learn so much!
It would technically be possible, and also an elegant solution in itself, however you then would have to merge the two geometry using merge by distance node, which I try to avoid as much as possible because it messes up the vertex indexes
