I saw their comments on my previous video and instead of saying "I'm sorry, we will try to do better as a business, or we respect our costumers opinions regardless if they like the products or not," they decided to go on and on about how their costumers are wrong, gave excuse after excuse on why their shipping sucks and how they felt "attacked" because I gave an honest review on their products.
Also, their ridiculous excuse for not having a return policy, because they offer samples is laughable. The samples are not even free, and you have to pay for shipping. So someone is going to pay for shipping, wait a month to get their order just for a few samples?! Regardless of this sample excuse which again is laughable, they should 100% have a return policy. Especially because you can only order their stuff online, so you are blind buying everything. You are literally only going by an image on the screen, the scent notes and bias reviews from RUclipsrs getting sent free PR. This entire situation is just a bad look for their business overall. I hope they change their ways or they won't make it far as a fragrance company.
Omg FINALLY an honest review!! I placed an order last year with a purchase of many full size mists and many samples!! They smell like a cheap essential oil!!! They are terrible! It took FOREVER for me to receive my order!!!!
How can they get away with using the same exact names as Bath & Body Works? Even well-established brands use similar names like Moonlight Path vs Twilight Path on their dupes to avoid a lawsuit.
I was told by Harley that shipping to Canada was $25.00. Harley also said it would be adjusted after order went through. It was not! I paid 25.00 for 10 samples to Canada. I've never paid that much ever for shipping. 😢

I'm glad you are being so honest about your experience with this company, because I was thinking of ordering from them. Definitely rethinking that idea, I don't have money to waste and they seem pretty shady. No return policy???? Hell no!!!! Love your makeup by the way. ❤
I’m so done with them as well. I commented on your last video and they responded. They can stalk social media but can’t ship orders or respond to emails. I’ve sent 2 emails about my order and can’t get a response but they can respond to comments when someone says something negative about them. I’m just gonna go through the bank to get my money back since I can’t get my order.
it's truly disgusting. try to get your money back as soon as possible, definitely go through the bank and try to get it back that way, because god knows you won't ever get your money back going through dirty soul lol.
It took over a month for me to get mine. For some reason, the scents made my eyes water. I felt like they coated my nostrils and lungs when I smelled them. Does that make sense? They made me go into a coughing fit, every time I sprayed them. And the lotions smelled awful. Like sour, almost? I’m seeing these positive reviews from RUclipsrs, so I’m here thinking something is wrong with me bc of how I’m physically reacting to them. But I’m glad to see that I’m not alone in how I felt about them. So disappointing bc of all the options they have. Oh well 🤦🏾♀️.
I am sorry you had a bad experience with them. I myself have ordered from them on a few occasions. The only issue I had was my samples were not included, I told them about it. They were supposed to send them to me but I never got them. That said, it didn't stop me from continuing to order. I knew the shipping time would be long as it is indicated on the website, that wasn't an issue for me. I watched reviews from RUclipsrs who did not get PR from them and gave what I felt was a true assessment of the their products. I like everything I received. They also advise you let the mists sit for a few weeks for the smell to mature which is not uncommon. I am not advocating for or discouraging people from doing business with DSSC. All I can say is people should try things out for themselves before making a judgement about something or someone. Everyone's experiences are not the same.
First of all, the way they didn’t send you your samples is laughable when their whole argument to me for not accepting my returns was because they offer samples lol. Secondly, fragrance mists should not smell the way that they did just because I didn’t allow them to “sit” properly. Third of all, if some people genuinely do like these fragrances, that is fine, my main issue is more so with the brand and how they treated me and how unprofessional they are. Fourth of all, regardless of it saying it will take a month to ship to you on their website, they should most definitely try shipping the orders way faster than that, especially because they were so quick to delete and respond negatively to my comments, they could use that time to ship their products faster. I personally don’t recommend this brand at all, it’s just negative on top of negative with them.

I agree anyone should be able to say how they feel about any product without the fear of backlash from the owner. Most business owners will take ALL feedback, positive or negative and use that to make their products better. Shouldn't that be the goal? I've def left negative reviews on products b4 bc i want the company to know what the issues are. If everything is a glowing review then how can they improve?
they are also deleting everyones comments on this video and my community post about them. Very insecure and disgusting of them to do that. It's a shame they can't send out their costumers products as fast as they are deleting these comments lol. Bonnie and other influencers here on RUclips should really rethink who they're supporting.
The owner has been outed on another platform pretending to be a customer advertising the products. Very Shady.

And yes, I do see them in all the lives ppl do as well and they talk about how they work so many hours a day ,but they always commenting and watching everyone's youtube videos and lives. Which is all fine and well ,but just take the feedback to improve. No business should be hateful bc of criticism.

Oh wow! I'm sooo glad I came across your video. I was just about to order 5 bottles from them including wrapped in vanilla. I miss out on buying that from BBWS when it was popular, I took abreakfrom them because some of their scent to me started to all smell the same. Maybe it was just my nose after having covid twice and changing my scent of smell.. Then I came across Making it happen with Mary, Queen girl of geek's and two other ones on RUclips. Glad I saw this and thank you for your honesty! ❤ guess I'll have to bite my lip and buy wrapped in vanilla off ebay. Well said sista, I will spend my money elsewhere and be covered with returning it if something is wrong! ⚘♥️

I've purchased from several small businesses, including DSSC, and almost all of them unfortunately have a no return policy so it's sucks to hear about your negative experience with the brand.
Side note: that ending reminded me so much of when Jeffree Star reviewed Rhode skincare and how that video ended😮

Remember when vendor wax used to be a thing? I thought this was another fly-by-night sort of operation that would pop up temporarily from time to time I've never ordered from them and have no intention of doing so in the future.
Your complaints are valid and legitimate, including PR being an incentive for bias.
But I hate blind buying, so I never even considered them as an option anyway.
I'm active on the Bath and Body subReddit. Dirty Soul has been caught three times using fake accounts to promote and advertise their products. It's crazy, because they could really have a great business, but their shady b.s. is going to do them in.
Oh, my. I'm glad I came upon this, I've been seeing more and more of this company showing up on channels I like to linger on for fragrance reviews, and I was fascinated by what seemed to be a small start-up with big potential. I can give leeway and grace for having hiccups and bumps in the road, but this is disgraceful. A month for shipping. No return policy. The juvenile and downright rude commenting. That's... really bad.

I agree with some of what you’re saying but not all of it. She was very disrespectful and unprofessional with you on that chat and yeah what are you doing on somebody’s live when you have emails waiting for a response? Make it make sense! That definitely put a “dirty” 😂😂 taste in my mouth.
Furthermore, like another small body care business I know that has a horrible turnaround time from point of sale, it is bad business to keep your customers waiting a month to receive products and this has discouraged me so far from ordering from both that place and Dirty Soul. Like you said hire some help or something.
And I totally agree that they should have a definitive return policy, but people need to stop impulse buying full size products they’ve never tried before, especially when there are samples available. I’m not saying I never do this, but when I do and don’t like the product I don’t expect to return it simply because I don’t like it. It’s not their fault I don’t like it.
Now if the bottle is defective or product is defective or it broke in transit, etc., then yes refunds should be given. But like she said, that really is what samples are for, to try before you buy. Small businesses suffer when people expect to return something like this, especially items that cannot be resold, simply because they didn’t like it. It’s a bit narrow minded to not be aware of how much a smaller company can lose when customers do this. It’s not Amazon or Walmart which I’m sure have huge insurance premiums that they can afford to cover this sort of loss of product and time.
Thank you for revealing all this about this company though. It’s stuff new and future customers need to know. I’m not sure how they think they can act like this and not have people talking about it in the age of social media. Dumb move on their part. 🤷🏾♀️

The end!! Lol. I saw your comment on 🐰 recent video about dirty soul co. And had to watch your videos and watch all the 🍵. They need to throw the pineapples Marshmallow in the garbage is bad! the wood note i believe ruined it, I also bought the dupe for melanie martines cry baby and is definitely not what i expected I don't smell much strawberry milk but is ok. I will say the matcha Latte and the gourmands chocolate/ tres leches those are bomb and i used them to pair and they are awesome. The shipping is beyond slow but me personally i own so many products i don't mind. I put in another order for more added gourmands scents hopefully they stay yummy especially the honey mist! . I do also agree and I keep on guard with certain big youtubers that get PR....they'll slam BBW but the PR companies NADA!! Some like Kringle that never gives free shipping on 30 dollar candles or good sales and the best candles are reserves and the regular ones are basically Homeworx who have terrible performance on 80% of theirs and still charge tons for them.
They are wrong for lashing out at a negative review. Rudeness and bad customer service is a reason why a lot of people don’t want to support small businesses. I’m not going to buy from them now. I don’t want to get burned. I don’t think some people say negative things because they get PR or don’t want to say anything negative because it’s a small business and they have a parasocial relationship with the owners. 😂😂😂
Hey Joey, my comment will probably be deleted but I want to share my experience, I fell for the hype and ordered two boxes of their mists, over two hundred dollars worth of the big bottles, not samples. Stupid, I know. I believed the other you tubers and was excited for the mists. Every single one of them went into the garbage!! I am not kidding, I threw all of them away. There is something off about their mists, I bought them during a sale they was having and bought close to thirty mists, all of them were bad. I know you only bought three and some people may try to say that is not enough to make a final opinion on their scents, well I tryed alot of them and they were all bad. I have learned a lesson, and I no longer trust those youtubers, there is no way they like those mists. There is something in them that smells bad, I dont know how to explain it.
Wow, thank you for letting me know. I personally don’t think they like the mists either, they are just doing what they were told by dirty soul because its free PR. It’s a deal under the table, “you say only nice things about my products, and you get free body mists.” It’s all messed up. I personally wouldn’t want those mists even if they were free PR lol
@@joeyjojoxoxo6319 You are so right, they are not even worth it for free, they are really bad mists. I took my time and watched some videos, got excited about having longer lasting scents. So I took some notes on what the reviewers were saying and then went to their website and even took more notes about which ones I was interested in, made several lists to narrow down my choices, I really put some thought into my purchase. I had placed two orders and got my first box and started to spray them, I did not like any of them. I kept trying to like them, and giving each scent some time to get used too, but I just couldnt, they would dry down to an awful smell. Then came the second box, same thing, and I was like all of these are going into the garbage, lesson learned. I am so glad someone is speaking out about this, they are making money from first time buyers and that could add up to alot, but eventually that money train will die.

I always enjoy your videos and can respect your review but you lost me when you said not to trust other RUclipsrs that get the products from PR. I know several that have received Dirty Soul from PR, but were honest when they didn't love/like a scent. Something about the products didn't sit right with you and that is fine, but you shouldn't go after other RUclipsrs that have a different opinion. Mary (making it happen with Mary) is one that collaborates with DS and she is very honest about sometimes not getting what she needs to get from some of their scents and others she loves. Pretty much the same way she is about Bath and Body works. I am sad and disappointed that you threw in "I also wouldn't trust other RUclipsrs that are getting them in PR" that isn't fair at all.
In all honesty, RUclipsrs being honest or not being honest about their scents is the least of my issues with this entire situation at the moment. My main issues with Dirty Soul Soap company is the way they treat their costumers and the way they take no accountability as a brand for their shipping/ignoring their costumers emails/not having a return policy due to this ridiculous sample excuse. They then had the goal to delete comments on my videos because my subscribers were being honest telling me their own experiences with the brand, which shows a huge amount of insecurity and shadiness on their part. I am not certain which RUclipsr is saying a bias review, and I'm not outing one specific person. I do believe some of them are saying only nice things because they're getting products in PR, however I do not think all of them are doing that.

Some people are forgiving of the lengthy shipping times because DS is such a small company, so that isn't a deal breaker for them, but I do get that the wait isn't for everyone. I really hope that your subscribers don't get a bad taste for all youtubers that collaborate with DS based on your comments, because you and all of the ones I mentioned above are great and this shouldn't cast a bad light on any of you, it's simply a difference of opinion.
