I've only watched 2 of your vids so far, the intro to the new cymbal pack one (where you were slashin hard, right down Broadway on em 🫣🤯) and this one.
I was thinkin those gorgeous new KS's were gonna look like your old ones in pretty short order, but your technique has improved by a mega-ton!.
Your playing looks great, and your cymbal crashing sounds better too.
Good on ya, keep it up and they should last hella long, not to mention you look and sound way more pro 👍🤙

Thanks so much for the feedback! I was hoping my technique had improved. Sometimes it still looks like I’m hitting them too hard. I also still use the old hats occasionally to save the new ones from serious thrashing. One thing’s for sure, I haven’t broken a single stick since I changed the way I play!

Totally, yeah you'll save sticks too.
I'm not sayin you gotta be all precious with your cymbals. I would just play the new hats if you like em, they're literally made to be hit.
I'm also a hard hitter, but I've developed better "technique" so that I'm kinda sliding through em instead of just blastin em straight on. I haven't broken a crash in well over a decade, but I have broken a splash, and funny enough, yeah, a hi hat top lol 😆
