No queues no rush theatre empty. But after a month full house all black tickets. I watch 3 times in a week with empty theatre. Really amazing

I saw this film in Lido Cinema with my Aunt. My favourite hero Jackie was stunning n Meenakshi is also very beautiful n talented. My Aunt was doing her Masters from SNDT college n I was in MMK College. This film brought back lovely memories of my days in Mumbai ❤

Thank you once again for such a nice video. I have to say the Arabic qawwali Mohobbat yeh Mohobbat was my favorite song in this movie after the flute music and Lambi Judaii. The other songs are very nice but I always was only a fan of those . I guess being from the middle east. That song made a more familiar feeling in my heart than the rest. Anuradha was really good in her singing and I think Manhar Udhas was meant to be Jackie Shroff's voice. Lata as always was beautiful. Meenakshi became my favorite heroine when I was a young girl from this movie because of her amazing dance talent. Till today I think she was outstanding and there are very few actresses that come close to her talent. I feel in some ways she didn't get her right due. She could have explored so much more with her talents in acting. I would love to request you make a video on the movie Sultanat. Being a fan of Shashi Kapoor's son Karan. I feel he is another person that was so beautiful in his looks he was not made for the Bollywood industry but by god he could have been something out of the ordinary. Just like Indian actors are now in Hollywood being discovered. I mean by god, he was an Indian and just because he looked so foreign the poor guy didn't get much of chance. Anyway, would love to see a behind the scene or unsuni baaten about Sultanat. Also Sunny was amazing in that movie - he was so Dharmendra "I know Dharam sir was also in the movie LOL!". I wish they would make more movies like those. Abdullah and Sultanat need some more movies added to their genre.

I watched this movie when i was 2-3 years old. And the climax was very scary for me. Meenaxi slipping on the ladder and getting drowned in the deluge was very scary to watch at that time

Kamalahaasan had no respect for Hindi film-makers. Manmohan Desai and Subash Ghai approached him but he didn't think highly about their films. Most of his Hindi films were directed by South Indians like Dasari Narayan Rao,T.Rama Rao and I.V.Sasi. Whether Tamezh or Hindi films... Kamal Haasan was only comfortable in solo projects with himself being the main focus. In the 80s multi-star films were the trend and even big stars like Amitabh and Dharmendra were working in mostly 2 hero or 3 hero projects. Kamal couldn't fit into this situation. Even in Tamezh he stopped working with Rajnikanth because he realised Rajni had a very charismatic presence and soon Kamal would get over-shadowed.

Kamalahaasan had no respect for Hindi film-makers. Manmohan Desai and Subash Ghai approached him but he didn't think highly about their films. Most of his Hindi films were directed by South Indians like Dasari Narayan Rao,T.Rama Rao and I.V.Sasi.
Whether Tamezh or Hindi films... Kamal Haasan was only comfortable in solo projects with himself being the main focus. In the 80s multi-star films were the trend and even big stars like Amitabh and Dharmendra were working in mostly 2 hero or 3 hero projects. Kamal couldn't fit into this situation. Even in Tamezh he stopped working with Rajnikanth because he realised Rajni had a very charismatic presence and soon Kamal would get over-shadowed.
