I love how quick his footwork is on defense, the 3pts% will be better with better conditioning and when he will be less nervous, but if he can move laterally that quick it means he can be back to his prime soon !

You can see a little bit of rust but if this is where he STARTS from after a two year break he's gonna be fine. Love how he has the greenlight to take every shot he wants no matter how tough. Integrating him back well is the main thing.

It's a great sight to see that klay can run, play D, dunk and shoot smoothly. But the only concern i have is his sprinting, it don't seem that klay can fully sprint. It's understandable due to him not playing for 2+ years, hopefully we can see improvements of his sprint after a few games 🔥

I'd say the off the dribble fade away, gliding to the left jumper over good defense was the one. It was absolutely elite and unstoppable
What's funny is I don't think he was forcing it because if we look at old film of him these are all shots that he would normally take...its just that we haven't seen him in so long that we forget...he is in that steph category where these are bad forced shots but he's been taking & making these shots with relative ease his whole career

EDIT: I'll add, his on-ball D looks good, given his extended hiatus.. He's always been a bit of a 'ball watcher', but I think he may even be a better defender now with the new hybrid scheme that GS runs and the fact he can be WAY more handsy than the last time he played.. Sounds crazy, but he might be better than he was before.. His game doesnt revolve around athleticism or explosiveness.. It's about getting to his spots and his teammates knowing where to get him the ball.. He's gonna be 'BACK BACK' come playoff time I bet..
Its amazing how he plays great D against smaller quicker guards. I honestly dont know he does it.

Only thing I saw that I didn't like was the Footwork.... Also, He had a tendency of going into the same offensive move pattern(Catch, drive, stop, then Fade or pass out). That's probably because of the practices/personal workouts he been doing.... Thank fully there's two months to go and I suspect that he'll be comfortable and after the first round he would be almost back into his original form(75%)..
Look at his footwork on defensive end, not just on offense.

You see Otto Porter Jr.? He's an injury prone player but the warriors manage him well since they prioritize his health more they gon do the same for klay with the depth that they have rn
