I also like belachan bihun. My whole family love sotong kangkung. Kangkung is actually morning glory or water spinach. Wah Chu you really know how to use the word "Licin" eventhough you only heard it that day.
Me as Sarawakian haven’t try that Bihun Belacan 😂 and I can say that Bihun are another signature dish after Mee Kolok and Laksa Sarawak here in Sarawak.

as Sarawakian i myself cannot take the mihun belacan.. due to the strong shrimp paste taste.. the "acorn jelly" is sotong.. the black egg is century egg.. another drink u should try is white lady, matterhorn.. food u shoud try kueh chap, kompia, pansuh, & local style dishes..
What u juz ate r my favourite too. May b u should try some authentic local traditional food like ayam panchio (chicken cooked in bamboo), midin (local fern), umai (local sushi), nasi goreng dabai. If u hav time go for boat trip up river, staying at traditional long house n etc
Chu, another place to find good cucur udang is at Green Hill Corner. In the middle of kuching city. The shop also famous for their char kuih ( fried carrot cake) and mee sapi ( beef noodle). Pls try before u go back okayyyyy...
