It's a wonderful little box. Don't forget the little trim pots as well for LFO sync or extra massive gain :)

@@RichardDeHove i knew about the lfovsync but extra gain ! 🤔 I thought the trim pots where just for cv stuff will have to investigate 😃👍

    So awesome \m/
I would love to see how you are programming that drum sequence. Actually looking forward to Perkons tutorial vids like you have done with the DB-01?? Nobody is making noise like you, so freaking rad!

Perkons seems very obvious at first but is quite subtle and deep. The sound choices and UI choices Erica has made are not the obvious ones imo. It seems to point toward creating single big "super-patterns" rather than collections of chained patterns, but then what about short breaks? Perhaps that's a role for all the send-return slots and momentary effects? Short real-time loops and mutes? It feels like there's a different way of operating and performing in there to be discovered.
TLDR: When I really know what I'm doing I'll definitely do a tutorial series.

@@RichardDeHove Completely agree, After watching this video I deleted all my patterns and kits that I made when I first got mine. It is too easy to just go back and play with the same stuff over and over and not really reconect with the creative part. And most of those patterns and kits were either lame or duplicative, or both hahaha. I have had many drum machines, but I feel, for me anyway, that the UI and the logic as far as the way to access modulation and other functions just makes sense. I have never been happier with a drum machine.

    Even nicer than nice.

I'd run that into a 3Tom MS-22 for a touch of light distortion.

A beautiful little module! I was thinking of putting one channel through the Geiger Counter but thought I'd better keep things 'pure'.

Was really hoping for more A/B without the input drive cranked, but perhaps in another video :)

Hmmm, well, can't make the HappyLittleSynth unhappy. How about another try, this time with the Rev2?

@@RichardDeHove Haha don't worry about lil ol me! However, if I'm honest, I'd love an LXR-02 & Acidbox as I'm almost clicking the buy button on both of those, but cannot seem to find any videos featuring the two exclusively! Either way, appreciate all your videos!

@@happylittlesynth An LXR-Acidbox pairing would be an excellent suggestion except that I sold my LXR to help finance the Perkons. After all who needs two drum machines? lol Of course it's now obvious several drum machines are needed - especially something small that doesn't eat up so much desk space. I think the Perkons is much more fun to program and jam on and seems much easier to get interesting sounds.... but I still want something small as well. Even looking into a TT-78 as contrast. Anyway, can certainly recommend the AcidBox, I've cycled through quite a few filters and this one has an excellent feature set and is also fun. They all have to be fun!

@@phjmez I thought with Perkons the LXR would be completely overshadowed but it has all sorts of special charms. Very different machines. I was thinking of doing a comparison ...
