I like to think that Abed got the video game job, and when he showed up at the game studio he decided there were already too many weird nerds and the cast needed someone to fill the Jeff Winger role. Then he became Brad Bakshi.
7:02 Abed said that Donald Glovers character invents dance pants in 2019 but not to tell him. That was the year he premieres the childish Gambino music video. He literally predicted that LMAO
abed claiming that the earth got destroyed by and asteroid in case season 6 would not happen means he can canonically predict the future or actually look at different timelines
Abed left to work as a PA about a show set in a video game studio. Show took so long to be created, switched channels, was stuck in development hell and eventually he just became a lead actor in the series, Brad Bakshi
Messianic myths and ancient peoples is a great representation of type 3 Jerusalem syndrome. Although it affects those who have been to the holy city, Abed fell victim to it while making his meta movie.
He isn’t weird just different and the reason they pick on him ain’t because of weirdness. It’s because in reality they are afraid of what he can really do.
The thing is though, the other characters think that Abed has a weird obsession with TV but the reality is that he is the only character who's actually aware that he's a character on the show Community. He doesn't think that he's living out a flashback, he knows he is. At least you can interpret the episode that way if you choose to. Part of why it's so clever is that you can have it either way. Personally I prefer the idea that Abed is actually able to see through the 4th wall to the idea that he's completely lost his mind. In the claymation epsiode, at first Abed seems to have lost his mind, but before too long everyone seems to be seeing what he's seeing. That's not how delusions work in real life, but it is how they often work within a narrative. I also prefer this option because of the last episode where Abed tells us he's got an exciting Holywood career in his future. If it's true that he's actually just aware of his role on the show that whatever he tells the audience can be assumed to be the true ending for his character. If the "Abed is just a crazy person" theory is true, that is almost definitely a delusional lie he has invented to deal with the trauma of losing his new adoptive family. According to the "Abed is crazy theory" Abed's Uncontrollable Christmas and other episodes show us that Abed simply can't cope without the others.
Pierce: Stop narrating me!
Abed: He shouted, to no one. Just a man, alone in time with nothing but the cold squishiness of tuna salad to comfort him.
They ask him :
Wow , so when should we do it ?
😇 : do what ?
Them : u know, torturing u and executing u ?
😇 : i was thinking 😳 wait what ?
The FoolishMortal6121 quoted into a youtube comment section.
Always loved that Abed sees himself as Phoebe and Annie as Chandler in that scenario lmao
Does make sense considering how he knows how other people see him. I always found that line very funny as well
"I may have done some damage there" is still my favourite. Troy's reaction is great and Abed realizing it was sweet.
My heart breaks a bit for Troy in that clip
I tear up a little every time I watch that scene
I love how the Fourth Wall is basically Abed's closest companion, after Troy, naturally. He just loves breaking it!
Why would you break your companions?
@@christianchick9131break, not in the traditional sense, but the "finally, I broke him with my joke" sense.
@@nikhileshkillada4217 ah that makes sense
Troy and jeff
@@christianchick9131 4:02 I may have done some damage there...

His job is working on a show about a game studio, not in a game studio... so he wowed them so much that they put him in the show.

^^ I love this comment
7:02 Abed said that Donald Glovers character invents dance pants in 2019 but not to tell him.

He literally predicted that LMAO
I think every scene with Abed is a meta moment
I wish the Community film is just the full lenght ABED film so that we finally have a Jesus film for the post post modern era
And the best line in the clips is Shirley's "Oh c'mon Charlie Kaufman some of us have work in the morning, damn!"
ABED ABED ABED ABED 2:39 😂😂😂
3:00 Abed mentions working for Fox and the IT Crowd that had Joel McHale on the US pilot of the IT Crowd? Abed truly is meta.
come and think of it Danny Pudi is in the show call Mystic Quest, which is like IT Crowd meet 30 rock but video games.
@@JURINw hmm thanks for making me realize that's an actual TV series
Mythic Quest
Original title: Mythic Quest: Raven's Banquet
TV Series 2020-
Abed calling out Shirley that she's reacting how everyone did to jesus was hilarious because it was true. Unappreciated in his time
1:41 I love how this is just like the scene in Dune where Paul declares himself to be the Lisan al-Gaib in front of all the Fremen
Abed makes me feel so good about being on the spectrum
He makes me feel better for not being the only one who noticed the Phoebe and Chandler thing…yeah I’m probably on the spectrum.
3:34 might be my favorite scene in the series. Watching Troy’s heart break, oof.
I remember when this show was about a community college...
Yeah, that was a cool episode
abed claiming that the earth got destroyed by and asteroid in case season 6 would not happen means he can canonically predict the future or actually look at different timelines
No! No different timelines! We all know where that leads....
i think he said it to give us closure if s6 didn't happen
8:05 Annie's face just makes me wanna hug her 🥺

Oh, come on! How can you not include the moment he narrates Pierce while he's eating a sandwich?
Cause that's technically a flashback so they ll want to include it in that list
3:20 this is the moement that Jeff realised that he was the only one left alone.
Abed breaking the fourth wall is him telling us what the movie's plot will be
I love Abed recognizes he's the Phoebe
I'm so freaking pumped he's going to be in the last Airbender
You have to believe Troy will always be one of the best
I hope the movie mentions Troy inventing dance pants in 2019
Messianic myths and ancient peoples is a great representation of type 3 Jerusalem syndrome. Although it affects those who have been to the holy city, Abed fell victim to it while making his meta movie.
Abed whispered the plan because he knew if he said them out loud that it wouldn’t work because that’s a common trope
My Guardians of the Multiverse team, Deadpool, She-Hulk and the Joker with Abed Nadir as the leader.
How did I never see the Dean's Dave Matthew's impression, Jim Rash is hilarious
That last clip is saying something I can feel it
3:06 SIX SEASONS AND A MOVIE
They missed his narration of pierce eating a sandwich
Pierce is a lucky man being Abed's lover
I definitely would've watched ABED even if he thought it was trash
You did watch it!
From a certain point of view.
7:20 Now that's a Level 7 Susceptible! 😂
the abed movie is one of my favorite community episodes
Me waiting patiently for Shirley: Best moments
"That's nice"

Idk why but Dune Part 2 reminded me of this episode.
Britta : I don't even believe in god, but I love me some Abed
'agitated my sciatica' 🤣🤣🤣
That last clip tho. God Abed and Annie were so cute together.

AGITATIN MY SCIATICA!
Was him talking about the show about a video game studio a reference to Mythic Quest?
no mythic quest wasnt an idea yet.
Agitating my sciatica!
2023 and I’m still waiting on dancepants
So the Chosen got its pitch from Abed.
where's the clip where it just cuts to Annie and the actual recording crew
Should of included when the dean ask him can’t he figure it out and abed make a speech about character using there mental illness as a plot device
"that sounds very appealing to filmmakers"
.... and thats cannon.
lmao!!
It'd be crazy if the Community Movie is the ABED jesus film episode drawn out as a full on movie
Aaabedddd
The Show: Annie is pretty young, we try not to sexualize her
Also the Show: 4:14
But I love me some Abed.
Wait did they know Danny was going to appear later in his current show, Monster Quest?
He is the Lisan Al Abed
Cool abed films are the best
At least we know it Canon we're all dead because of that astroid hit
7:05 😏
hes so me
I forgot how funny this show was
AAAAAAABEEEEEEEED!
🥰🥰🥰🥰
What movie this is?
Tell your disappointment to suck it

ALL CAPS
Honestly the Abed movie episode was one of my least favorite. About the only enjoyable moment was when Shirley bailed him out by destroying the film.
Luckily not canon
Anyone else feel like Abed thinking that flashbacks are real is dumbing his character down? I still love that episode tho
I don’t think so. Since stop motion was real to him

The editing kind of sucks in this show, never saw it until now. Show still funny though.
