See, I happen to think that the Chang hat frog prank is actually brilliant. With Chang's psyche he might think he had turned into a frog. Or his sister that died in utero had come back... as a frog. The possibilities are endless with Chang.
What I also love about that moment is that Annie's story actually felt plausible given it was based on true history between them. The fact Jeff and her used it in a plot to prank the dean means they had both somehow reconciled about it to the point they could knowingly use it as a joke. In the continuum of the unresolved romance subplot between them it's actually quite a cute moment.
11:20 annie and craig really really really put a very high dramatic acting bar here, their emotions were on point even tho they all -and the viewer- knew that this was a prank on all levels.
The prop gun scene was not a prank! It was a very important lesson that everyone needed to learn! Were this video a time video, were this comment a time comment! And no. I am not trying to teach anything. (Please give me a break, time travel is so hard to write)

Annie can act cute and all but the fact that she can get inside a person's mind, and read their mannerisms like an obsession makes her more dangerous even than Jeff who's a master manipulator.
