Yea she's done so many interviews over the years and some of them have just been horrible questions, not letting her speak, etc.... and you could tell she wasn't happy lol ..... but this interview she was very happy to do and she just seems very content. And the interviewer did a great job, he let her explain things and she even seemed to like his suggestion!! :)

Tbh there was nothing special about the questions and the interviewer except he works for Billboard and she wants to be respected by them. His questions weren't that much clever than the average questions she get.

I'll cite, "Living For Love" and "Ghosttown" as proof. Rebel Heart should have had 3 or 4 more classic hit radio singles. It also should have won the Grammy for Best Pop Album. What was the double whammy, was the fact that the exact same fate took place w/ Janet Jackson's monumentally powerful, Unbreakable. Both of those albums should have been played on the radio like they were the last works by those 2 Ladies of Pop.
I’d love to see her perform all three of those songs live. This Used to be My Playground is one of absolute favorites.
As someone who has never been a Madonna fan, and the reason I wasn't a fan was because of her personality in interviews. I'm not sure what's happened to her, but she seems really happy, fun, and even genuinely humble. After seeing this, and her performance I'm starting to see her in a different light.

Madonna is really picky about the questions she gets asked in interviews. If she doesn’t like them she can come off as a stuck up bitch probably because she’s bored.

I feel like she was in a really good headspace at this point. Her answers are very insightful and honest.
Imagine how often she's been interviewed and then imagine how many times she gets asked the same lame questions. Why are you 'the material girl'? Why did you colour your hair? What do you think of Gaga, Mariah, Whitney, Janet, Celine, Cher... etc... she gets fed up with inane, lazy questions and yes, that can show. When someone takes her seriously as an artist and asks her actually thought-provoking questions, she gets very animated. She likes to debate. She likes to discuss things on a deeper level. She wants to be understood better and for her music to be seen on more than just a surface level. She also likes challenging other people's perceptions and she's open to having her mind changed if someone can offer a better argument. She's a very intelligent woman and gets bored with unintelligent people.... which are many journalists in the entertainment industry, let's keep it real.
It's such a privilege to know you're living at the same time as the queen of pop is living! That you're sharing this world and this life with a woman that did so much and risked much more to get where she is! Long live, Queen!

She has many talents, she writes wonderful songs, she dances beautifully and above everything else she has a beautiful mind, she produces great content, she is a revolutionary for many good causes. All the performers lip sync as needed, singing and dancing at the same time can be damaging. I understand they are humans and if you do the math of how many performances Madonna has done completely live and the ones she has done using some pre-recorded material, the results are quite positive in her favor, unlike other divas. Beyoncé, Mariah, J.Lo... they all have used pre-recorded material, I have been following this market for quite a while. If you don't understand that, don't use the word "moron" on anyone else but yourself.

@@lucakat9262 my youngest brother remembers her telling him that he could jump in the pool. That lady is nice!!! He was very little when he said that, but till this day he still remembers her. On my side and my mother's. Miss Madonna is a little short, but she is a beautiful, beautiful lady.

I love that she has been involved with the coolest people in pop culture history, Andy Warhol, Jean Michel Basqiat, Martha Graham, Keith Herring, Sandra Bernhard, Tupac Shakur, and thats what I call a pop star with depth. Not like the pop stars today who know nothing but what is around them, they know nothing of the past and this besides the fact that I truly love her music is why I have stuck by her since I was a teen in the 80's on the dance floor and I heard 'Burnin Up" for the first time and I almost lost it. But then "Like A Virgin" came out and I hated it and after that I had a long love hate relationship with her, because I always thought she should have been doing electronic music. And then came "Justify My Love" and "Vogue" and finally the album that I had been waiting for "Ray of Light" and she has been great ever since.
This woman is absolutely fascinating. Highly intelligent, sharp, witty and OH so needs to be loved and adored by the world.

The fact that the work is the overview of a spy and her many different roles she's played -- in espionage and in life itself -- makes the whole thing a cinematic tale on vinyl/plastic/analog tape. I hope/expect there to be interludes (like her new promos) on this album, giving a sign/cue as to what (or which) persona is taking place, shape, and displaying their voice at each particular time. Conceptually, it seems fascinating. I really do hope the material is as diverse (musically) as the characters featured in the epic.

I don't get it! This Used to Be My PLayground and I'll Remember are indeed dreamy, ethereal songs, but they also pack an emotional wallop; they has so much potential to become stunningly personal moments in a tour. I love Madonna's Broadway-like spectacle and huge production numbers for her dance hits, but come on...she needs those intimate scenarios where she can connect with her audience in a deeper way.
She is brilliant at creating those kinds of songs. It's like Bad Girl. That song is very special to me. It's so full and giving. You want more.

Yeah but she's extremely intelligent and made straight A's in school. So I'm sure she can talk about stuff like that and more. It's just we don't see that side as much as we should. A lot of times, it's because most interviewers ask stupid questions.
