Wow. Did not know that he is no longer with us. And I only ever bought the detail Driscoll tone. I always had all of the other colors in my box, but thanks for sharing and thanks for watching.
Steve Driscoll, Mike Lavallee both are gone, but their legends live on. I learn so much from videos artists, like you, who are gracious enough to share their talent with us. I'd love to attend a Dru Blair class, maybe one day! Until then I'll keep struggling on.Thanks for sharing.
Nice tribute to Steve Driscoll. He passed away in July of 2018. Wicked sells a collection of Steve Driscoll Fleshtones. It includes Detail Carmine, Moss Green, Detail Violet, Detail Smoke Black, Detail Flesh Tone, and 4012 High Performance Reducer.
OMG, bro! You are GENIUS! Because I've been wanting to airbrush paint my cosplay for skintone to get close to my skintone and I didn't know how to approach it! I'm gonna try this out! Omg! Thanks again!
Yeah, get the Driscoll. The instructions it comes with will walk you through everything you need to know. Very easy to use. Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching.
Thanks alot for this tutorial. I've tried the first method recepie and it worked just fine. Starting from this base skin color can I shift it to a tanned/dark/brown skin tone by adding blue or violet and a bit of smoke color? I'm using art store brand acrylic paint for my test.
Use violet and smoke or black to deepen. If you go darker than you wanted to. Start back at the base and work from there. Thank you for the comment and watching.
You gotta learn RUclips code when you watch videos, he said this video is not sponsored. What I hear is Wicked paints isn't directly paying a fee for this video not that they aren't providing free materials or other free perks to encourage him to sell Wicked products!! You always have to listen for what isn't said in videos as much as what is said!!!
MIP. I can appreciate your negativity, but I have used Createx paints for over 20 years before I started making videos. Steve Driscol was an awesome airbrush artist, and his skin tone is still the best and easiest that I have seen to use. It's kind of a shame that's what you got from the video. I make videos because I like to reach and help others. Thanks for watching, though.
Once again thanks for the very use full information on skin tones.ck,wisc.
