Interesting that Mary is from "engineering" but calls it a "regular" screwdriver. How about being more specific with Phillips or flat-head (slot head). And what is a "washer-type-thingie?"

Why do you assume she does not know what it is called? Not everyone she is addressing this video would know, especially foreigners.
Now, question yourself as to why you felt compelled to write this comment... Women too are capable of being engineers, you know?

Didn't say women can't be engineers, I just found it interesting that someone from engineering doesn't know the actual names of a screwdriver or a washer. All the engineers I know do.

The fact that you're assuming she doesn't know names of different screwdrivers because she didn't state the type in the video and the fact you put engineering in quotes demonstrates your obvious misogyny. Time for you to self-reflect!

And in case you're still trying to figure this all out, the screwdriver you are looking for is a Phillips head, which is an extremely common type of screwdriver. The "washer-type-thingie" that you're confused about is the black plastic washer that she unscrews from the button, which with the context of the video was quite obvious. Here is the Wikipedia page discussing washers and all washer-type-thingies though if you'd like to learn more: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Washer_(hardware).
I personally found this video helpful for setting my Retrocade up, but what do I know? I'm just an "engineer" of course.
