Someone to consider is Daredevil, His baton hook works for kings ld and Man without fear works for M'bakus so no matter which one is active he is a valuable member to bring along, I build for M'baku more than T'challa so took him, Hawkeye and Heimdall as my splashes, He has pretty much become an auto no matter which ld is active nor what the mission is, 3 power to start just makes him scary, He is starting off being able to threaten a man without fear chain or devil's deliverance and that alone really messes with opponents heads and makes em play a little hesitantly

Storm can walk, walk toss someone off a point turn 1 with new Wakanda. I feel like people aren't respecting her enough. She's my extra wakanda character of choice when I have to go 6 wide.

Red guardian came to mind also with this leadership.

I know the guide is supposed to be exclusively for the King leadership only, but I think Wakanda might end up like web warriors where you’ll often take two leaders and decide what leadership to use after deployment. Especially since King T’Challa has some hard counters. I would be interested to see how that would change your tier list and splash options if the core was always King T’Challa and M’Baku for instance.

I agree that taking two leaders is definitely the way to go with Wakanda. I'd have to have a think about what changes I would make.

See I think this is a place where Ronan could do quite well with his long range push of size 4

Shocked you didn’t talk about Blob! Seems like an Auto & Red Guardian for the auto!

Blob seems terrible. Why should he be included?

I have to say I am floored by your placement of M Baku. He is the engine that makes Wakanda one of the most lethal attrition factions now. He is the best leader and an auto include in any setting with his Jabari chieftain turning Killmonger or TChalla into complete monsters. Within this setting, how can you not take the second native member who has a push on his builder and can generate a free builder off his amazing spender? Okoya can cover him if the enemy wants to put energy attacks on him but come on!

I really tried to make his leadership work, I tried fielding a roster of characters that all had easy or automatic pushes, and that wasn't as impactful as I initially thought it would be. Then I tried a roster of characters that had reaction pushes (ancient one, klaw, blob), and that was just too power dependent to be worth it. If it was once per character per turn, it would probably be way more valuable.
Funnily enough, King T'challa has been great on my avengers roster with Steve 1. Fantastic splash of a character. Saving that 1 power for bound really helps him be mobile and bring a lot of damage and power with him, using an 8 die builder each turn.

Someone either very good or very lucky considering the 59% win percentage over just 32 games in the last year on longshanks.

Oh, I completely agree that I think he has one of the weaker leaderships.

I think with storms retcon of adding 2 dice for 2 power paired with Usurper's leadership makes her serviceable, but i understand you're looking at it from Tchalla's leadership. I demolished Captain Marvel and captain America in the same turn with her. Plus the character throw
