Grand, classical, formal, and inviting are just some of the adjectives that describe this magnificent estate in Bedminster’s famed horse country. Completed in 2007, the 19,000 sq. ft. manor house spans 3 levels, sitting on over 81 acres, is the meticulous realization of the owners’ vision of an elegant and welcoming home rooted in the architectural vernacular of the Georgian style.
Their vision was painstakingly executed by the masterful design of Alan Greenberg, a leading classical architect of the late 20th and 21st centuries, and Elissa Cullman, principal of interior design firm Cullman & Kravis. The seamless collaboration, over multiple years, is evident in the masterpiece that is “Barryleigh.” Designed and built for luxurious contemporary living. Its essence draws deeply from the Georgian aesthetic of balance, to which are added exquisite detailing and finish.
The entrance to the property sets the stage for the beauty to come. Across a stone-arched bridge, a long driveway winds up a gentle hill through woodlands to reach a plateau of grassy wildflower meadows, giving way to dramatic views of the stately home and its surrounding gardens
While offering the ultimate in privacy and seclusion, this exceptional listing is minutes from fine dining choices, shopping, equestrian facilities, nationally ranked golf courses and excellent schools.

Beautiful estate... and can we talk about that HUGE green lawn?
Wonder how many acres of property?
For $16M, compare what you would get in mid-town Manhattan? 🤔

I see a lot of comments about not liking New Jersey, what's the reason? Security? High taxes? From a foreign country, it seems somehow spacious and relaxing, but is it not?

@MrCycle40 Yes taxes are very high in New Jersey The highest in the country for what you pay and what you get it's not good at all They say jerseys very crowded yes in some areas but in South Jersey it is a very open I have over 3 acres of land and my neighbors have acreage not big houses but peaceful and quiet and another issue we have is a lot of New Yorkers are moving here especially after the plandemic and the worst thing about them is they can drive to save their lives And when they move into a neighborhood they try to change it to make it as New York is. Also New Jersey is a have it all state We have beautiful beaches We have the mountains even though they're not huge They are beautiful We have the pine barrens forest which is a very large percentage of the state and we have decent hospitals schools etc shopping.
