I ordered this book and it has arrived! I'm super excited to use it in conjunction with the phiosophy that Warren exudes in his PLAP RUclips channel. I'm really very new to working with DAW's, and was initially overwhelmed by the sheer advice out there. There's a lot of charlatans and few sages. I love the way Warren champions experimenting and creativity, explains about learning to trust your ears rather than the numbers or screen, encourages you to ask yourself why you make certain decisions like using a compressor or EQ, keeping the big picture in mind, making subtle changes to craft masterpieces. Since honing in on Warren's tutelage, I feel much more confident, my mixes get better with every mix, and like life itself I guess, the more I learn, the more I realise how vast the realm of making music is, I'm definitely never going to learn it all in 10 lifetimes. And most importanty of all, to have fun and enjoy the journey! keep growing the tribe!
